It works very well. I have used them for 25 years. I have known him for many years and he has always had a backlog so I tried to create a backlog of his miscellaneous tasks and get him in one or twice a year to do things like cleaning the gutters and whatever other miscellaneous tasks have to be done. He does light electrical work and light plumbing and painting serious heavy duty carpentry and general contracting. There is a lot of additions now. He did an addition for me about 7 years ago now. Worked with my architect and helped with suggestions now. Brought in a variety of very good people on parts so we ended up with an excellent addition. There are some guys that are muscle men and there are some guys that are brains. He has good muscles but he is particularly good for his brains and problem solving on how to get something resolved.

Both projects were very successful. We bought quality materials for the slider, and Preston did a nice job with the fit and finish. The basement is a showpiece. A lot of attention to detail. The basement wasn't cheap (maybe $25,000 - it's been a while), but was worth it. The only thing we regret - and this was our decision - was not adding a half- bath. I know Proeston would have done a nice job on that, as well, because we saw the work he did at a friend's house.

He is very complete service in terms of handy projects as well as major jobs. He can do anything from small light switches to putting tile down. The things he does not do he will bring in someone else, such as granite counter tops. You are working with the guy who owns the business as opposed to a large handyman service. I have used him for about 25 years. He has become an essential part of my home maintenance. He is usually backed up several months because he is in such demand.
