BURHOE LANDSCAPING & LAWN SERVICE

The product is fantastic. Every time they mow for us, the lawn looks beautiful. No clippings anywhere and they trim the edges nicely. I've been disappointed with their responsiveness for anything other than weekly mowing. Takes a while to get back to me, and often I'll never hear back again. I was planning to use them for our 2014 fertilization treatments, but after two requests for a quote, I'm moving on to someone else.
Overall though, I've been very pleased with the work they've done.

Excellent service. Been traveling extensively and wanted someone I could trust with my lawn care. They tailored their work to what I wanted specifically. Knowledgeable workers and staff. They are not cheap, but I have found I have gotten what I paid for.

From start to finish, the project was professionally done. Friendly staff and workers. They started when they said they would start. They completed the job quickly. The men were above and beyond wonderful. At one point, I was walking my garbage cans back up my drive, when one of the workers came to do it for me. It was not required, or even expected. He was being a pure gentleman!
The design process was better than expected. Evelyn and Aaron know what they are doing. I had my own idea of what needed to be done, but after speaking with them and looking at their work, it was clear that they knew better.
We hit a few unexpected and unforeseen bumps along the way. Aaron handled them quickly and efficiently. I couldn't have been more happier.
The design for my front walkway gave my home a brand new look. They were amazing to work with.
They came to me upon referral from a friend. I would proudly refer their services to anyone who would ask.
I plan to use them in the future to design a back yard living space.

I've been using them for about 2 months so far and the quality and professionalism have been great. The lawn looks amazing, but I'm sure all the rain we've had this spring has something to do with that too! They gave us a quote for the entire season, which at first seemed steep at $2700, but broken down on a monthly basis we are paying about $200/month for weekly lawn mowing ($45 per week) plus the occasional fertilization treatment (about $50 per application). The lawn care adds up to about $350 per year, and the spring/fall cleanups cost about $350/$475 respectively. That leaves maintaining the irrigation system (mainly flushing it out before the winter to avoid freezing, which leads to leaks as I've found out the hard way) for $150/year and mowing is estimated to cost $1260 per year.
To put it in perspective our total lot size is a little under 1 acre and a good chunk of that is woods/house. I would say the yard and landscaping size is typical of your average suburban home.

They were professional, provided a quote 2 days after original call and did a quality cut of the yard when promised.

From the start we were very pleased with this company. Crystal was responsive with phone calls and had the estimate back to us in a timely manner. Work started as scheduled. These are the hardest working people, period. Despite hot temperatures and the sheer volume of work to be done they just kept moving. They were able to capture what we envisioned and created it in the back yard. In the end we are extremely happy with the results and strongly recommend them for any landscaping needs!

. Burhoe Landscaping And Lawn Service are very good. I am very pleased with them. They are very prompt and courteous. I have no problem with them. Last year I got a quote in the mail and I thought it was the company that I was using so I called them up and started working with them and I called the other company and cancelled with them. They are very good.

They never showed up. I am not going to keep calling them to beg them to do work for me.

I do think that their prices can be a little high. They are good at cutting my grass. They do the edging and clean up very well.

Dean Burhoe runs a tight ship. His workers are courteous, conscientious and skilled. The work quickly and efficiently, are always polite to my elderly mother who lives with me and are pleasure to have working around my house. They provide accurate estimates of the cost of the work and their rates are reasonable. I would highly recommend Burhoe's work.

They were on time and they did what they were supposed to do. They did extra and they are courteous. I would recommend them to others. The price was reasonable and I wouldn't have used them if I got a better price somewhere else.

Went very well. Much of the grass didn't take but everything else went fine. They were neat, on time and professional (although expensive).

This was the second time we had used Burhoe Landscaping for a major project. The first project was 18 years ago. Burhoe Landscaping helped redesign our front and backyard. In the front yard, they removed trees, sodded a lawn, built a brick walkway and planted a small garden by the entry. In our backyard, all shrubs were replaced, the lawn was extended and a beautiful perennial garden was planted. Today the front and back yards have the same shrubs (clipped back twice a year to keep them small) and the brick walkway still looks new! The back perennial garden has the same design, but naturally some plants have changed. For the past 18 summers, we often send “good thoughts” to Ann Burhoe who designed the garden. It is especially breath-taking in early July!
For this summer's project, we met with Dean Burhoe and discussed what we wanted. He made suggestions and then sent us a detailed written estimate and a timetable. The crew showed up when expected. They worked through rain and heat, completing the project at the agreed upon time. Their workmanship exceeded our expectations. The stone work is excellent. When Burhoe Landscaping finished, everything was perfect! Even our hose which had been in a messy pile on the side of the house was arranged in a neat circle!
The Burhoes are superb at designing, and their product stands up for decades. They are very professional and flexible. They are obviously well run since they have high employee retention (DJ was on our first job 18 years ago!). Since we have used Burhoe Landscaping twice with incredible results, we wouldn’t consider using anyone else. They are insured; give written estimates, extremely professional and flexible with changes. They are honest, hardworking professionals.
The end result is a and quot;game changerand quot; to our home. When you walk onto the ground level patio, the backyard and garden are right there and part of the patio. The stone work and Ann Burhoe's garden mesmerizes you.

They were extremely accommodating. I was leaving on a trip and did not have very much time because I was putting my house on the market. I needed them to do a lot of cleanup and landscaping work around the house within a week and a half, and they could not have been more accommodating. They were fabulous. The crew got everything done that I asked them to do very quickly. I was extremely pleased with their service and the quality of their work. They were pricey, but I would use them again in the future if necessary.

They showed up when expected and completed the job in approx 3 days. Came back and resodded area they worked in and added mulch to garden. Very neat and excellent workmanship. Nice people/crew.

They did an exellent job and restored the area against the house where the deck had been attached. It was beautiful when they finished. They reseeded the lawn and took great care in the job. They were prompt and professional and very neat.

The design kept my budget in mind and further includes my low tolerance for post installation "cost of ownership". I feel very well served and trust them enough to recommend them to my family and friends.
