Dave's prices were a little bit high but we wanted a quality job and he was willing to come down on a couple things so we hired him. He installed a patio and new steps, curtain drains and a dry well. He also applied a sealant to our foundation. The only problem was that after the yard grading, now whenever it rains we get huge puddles in our back yard (more like a pond). Dave refused to fix this issue because he said he had already miscalculated how much dirt he would need for the job and had to buy more out of his own pocket. He also did not realize that he would have to hire a carpenter for the flashing on the new steps. So he felt that he was out money on the job and wouldn't fix the flooding. Even though originally he told us he would take care of any pooling that might happen as a result of the job. This is much more than pooling. It is like huge pond in our yard and now we have to pay someone else to fix it. Needless to say, I am disappointed that Dave did not stand by his work.
