Explained to them and they knew what the problem was right away. Gave me a quote that was very reasonable compared to other calls made. They came and started the work right away. Once they got through the dirt, the problem was located. They fixed the one line leaking, as well as the other line that was not leaking. Needed a new cover for the opening and located one that saved me money by finding one that was a good deal. Now all's "well".

Called Keith to change out an electric water heater. He quoted me a very reasonable price even suggesting another size (larger) that would cost less than what we currently had. He was there the next morning on time and installed the water heater quickly and efficiently. I now have my 'go to' plumber for both my home and my rental property. Very happy with this company.

They were very quick to respond with an estimate the same afternoon I called. The quote was inline with other plumbers, so I accepted and they were able to install the new water heater the next afternoon. They were very skilled at their work and did a quality job, so I was very happy. As I was getting a hybrid water heater, they also had access to order and install a State Brand hybrid (also known as A.O. Smith). I preferred this over the big box store brands available. Thus, I'm very happy with the speed of the repair, my preferred brand of equipment, as well as the quality of the work. Note: I included the price; however, please note that hybrid water heaters are more expensive and complex to buy and install than standard water heaters. I did a lot of research on this item and cost for install, so I knew what to expect. Overall, I was happy with the cost, given the quality of the work and the amount of plumbing required for my particular installation.

Great. I called at 10, they were her by 12, and finished by 1. It was a quality job. They cleaned up after themselves, and took the old toilet.

I noticed my water heater was leaking (slowly) on Sunday 4/3.  Small leaks usually turn into big leaks in a short time so I called Buttermore on Monday 4/4.  The owner, Keith, answered the phone and I gave him my information and basement configuration.  He said he needed to find a unit and then he could give me a quote.  He called back within an hour and had located a new heater and quoted me a price.  He said he could install it later that day.  Perfect!!

He arrived when he said he would he and his partner had everything changed out in less then an hour-and-a-half.  He took away the old water heater and left me with a nice new one.  I was very happy with the quality of the new unit and the work they performed.

As a side note, Keith was very professional and personable.  Being a technical type of person, but not wanting to be in the way, I asked questions when it seemed appropriate.  Keith was happy to answer them and never made me feel like I was in the way or that I was bothering him.

The water heater itself was expensive....more so than most because it was the propane-fired type that requires a power vent.  At $1,800 I was not pleased but expected it to cost this much because I had gotten a quote from another contractor 6 months prior and it was in the ballpark by $100.  My displeasure with the price had nothing to do with Keith and his company.  He was right in line with the industry and with the quality of his work it was certainly worth it.

I highly recommend Buttermore Plumbing and will use them in the future for my plumbing/water heating needs.

They were very professional and communicated what they were doing to us.  They did get an A since they were 30 mins late and didn't call but that's not bad in the service industry like this.  I would definite use them again for my plumbing needs.

Excellent. I contacted Keith about the third week in October, told him what I needed done, and he gave me a rough estimate. I schedule the job for the following week. He arrived on time, and was very pleasant and professional. He and Mark, his associate, went right to work. I asked him some questions about my existing water volumn tank and if he thought it needed replacing. Keith looked out over and informed me that it looked in pretty good shape and that it did not need replacing. I was happy to hear that and it saved me some money. It took them a little over an hour to complete the job. I am very satisfied with the work done and the professional manor and friendliness of both men. Also, the price came on under the estimate.

This plumber is very popular.  I had to book the appointment 3 weeks out but the two-man crew was worth the wait. They worked quickly and efficiently.  I called the day before to make sure we were on schedule and it all came off without a hitch.  No waiting for parts, no special trip to the hardware store which can eat up time and money. I was very happy with the work.
