We used OCON to inspect the home we were purchasing for rodents. Despite having appeared thorough in looking through all the spaces, 2-3 months after moving in we found a major mouse infestation. Multiple other companies concluded ( with pictures making it obvious for us ) that this had been there for a while. This ended up costing us near $10,000 to fix after moving in.
Mice
After we found the mice, we called OCON to get rid of them. They were completely ineffective, having to come back multiple times with no success. They basically just put down some bait traps, but weren't able to do anything else to prevent mice from coming back, or get rid of the ones that were there.
Bugs ( ants )
We found carpenter ants in / near our home in the spring. They sprayed the outside of our home, bugs came back within a week. They came back and sprayed again for free. Ants came back. After that, we canceled, and won't use again.
"Our original inspection report dated 10/2/13 found the rodent problem and proposed a remedy. The report states, "recommend ongoing rodent program" and a proposal for a monthly service was attached. [member name removed] could certainly have prompted the seller to pay for this but we did not hear back from him until February (4 months later). At this point the infestation had increased. [member name removed] then only allowed access for three service visits. His expectation that such a problem would be resolved so quickly was unrealistic. [member name removed] dissatisfaction with OCON notwithstanding, he called us again in August of this year (not Spring) to handle an ant infestation and we recommended a bi-monthly maintenance service (which also included the mice). Again, [member name removed] expectations were unrealistic and after two visits he discontinued service. Our last visit to the address was 10/24/14."
Ocon has alway been professional and courteous. I would recommend them. We are still using them.
