This company is a rip off. We still have the leak and Mr. Jacozzi stopped returning phone calls. He stole our money and its a shame he is still in business. the BBB did fine him but we never got anything back or the leak fixed.
Response from JACOZZI PLUMBING & HEATING LLC
"Please accept this as a response to the unfounded complaints of Member. Jacozzi Plumbing, Heating & Cooling ("JPHC") has been providing quality services since 1984 and has an excellent record when it comes to customer satisfaction. With respect to repair services, JPHC devotes substantial time and effort in first identifying the source of the problem and educating consumers about the nature of the repair, including potential repair options. Ultimately, the scope of work decision remains with the client. With regard to Member's situation, not only was the plumbing in her shower in poor condition, but it appeared that the tiles within the shower had also been contributing to her water infiltration issues and were in need of repair. As explained to Member, JPHC has never performed tile work nor would it attempt to perform this type of work. JPHC agreed to, and did, fully repair the plumbing issues that were contributing to her water leak. Member was advised that additional work from another contractor would likely be necessary. Both the Better Business Bureau and the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection have found the complaints raised by Member to be unsubstantiated and have dismissed them without any adverse action taken against JPHC."

He is dependable, contentious and he diagnoses problems thoughtfully that most plumbers would overlook. He is very smart. We have been using him for twenty years.

A good experience with Jacozzi - expensive work for the drainage issue, but it was a problem we inherited with the house and had to have fixed, and I was willing to pay a premium to find a company who had camera inspection equipment. Tony was very professional and was very knowledgeable about the job he was doing and the equipment he was using (our clogs actually sent him to the repair shop, as his machine blew up after several hours on the job), and Chris was friendly and professional when he came out to replace the condensate pump.

He is very reliable and honest. He seems a little pricey but he talks through the processes with me and I appreciate that.

It was an expensive job. We thought the work went very well. The guy who came out was very professional. He most certainly seemed to know what he was doing. He showed up on time. If he was not going to be able to make it on time then, he used to call. We called him because we had a problem with a ceiling hot water heater, but he looked further into our plumbing situation and found some other problems. He corrected those all well. He didn't just come in and popped in a new water heater. He did a detective work. He handled the job and consult very professionally. It was a very good experience. I did choose him or at least have him come together to give an estimate because there was one review on Angie's list, which said that he was very good, but he was expensive. If we get a quality work and speak for ourselves, then we have quality for money. There is one more thing that needs to be done with the water heater and the boiler. He said he would do it in two weeks time, which is this week. He would come back to change the anti-freeze. I didn't know if there was an anti-freeze. I haven't heard from him yet.

I ahve never had to call him back b/c something was still not working properly. he gets it done the first time and it's done right. Mike Holmes would be proud. He has 'old school' ethics, but well versed with what's happening now in plumbing. i make the mistake of having a one stop shop guy redo my bath and now i'm paying the price. Its has to be completely redone and the only one touching the plumbing wil be Tony.

MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE IS IF I HAVE A PROBLEM, AND I CALL THEM IN THE MORNING THEY WILL STOP BY IN THE AFTERNOON AND TAKE CARE OF IT. IT IS PROMPT SERVICE. I HAVE HAD PLUMBERS IN BEFORE, AND HIS PRICES APPEAR TO BE HIGHER THAN NORMAL. IT'S GOOD, PROMPT SERVICE.
