Deros painting and hardwood floor

The crew was very inexperienced. I had to check everything they did.They were orally and emailed the exact type and color of the latex stain. They purchased and stained the house with a oil based fence stain. They dropped stain on the lower roofs of the house.When I caught that the owner assured me that it was the paint suppliers mistake and they would restain the house with the latex stain. I tolls them that you never put oil based stain over latex and then put latex over oil. The owner assured me that it was ok to do. I told him if it peals it is their responsibility to fix it. 2 mouths prior to their warranty of 3 years were exspired the house was peeling badly. I called Derios and he came out to my house and denied that they even made the mistake. I told him that I wanted him to fix the house and I would pay for the supples. He said no. I then told him to leave my property. I should take legal action but I don’t need the aggravation. Stay away from this company !!

Very well they show up on time did a great job and clean up. I was very happy with the job they did and will use then again.

We are thrilled with the results. Although we had a minor bump in the road early on, company was very eager to correct anything we were unhappy with and the end result is flawless. Nika, who handles and calls/emails for the office is organized, friendly, and professional. Camilla in the office is also friendly and helpful. The painters worked very diligently to get the job done in a quick and efficient manner - which was important to us as we are putting our house on market for sale. The price was very fair. Would definitely use Deros again!

Worst experience ever. Our bad experience started on the 1st day when I came home from work to notice my kitchen and my bathroom were both painted with flat paint when my contract clearly stated semi gloss. After a brief argument ending in me showing him the contract, the lead painter assured me it will be fixed the next day. The next day came and the lead painter dropped off 2 men that did not speak any english and he left for the day. They did fix the 2 rooms and started on my dining room and living room, again I had to go to work and upon my return noticed all my trim had been painted flat when again clear as day the contract states semi-gloss. I pointed to a spot on my newly painted kitchen ceiling and the man grabbed a roller and began to roll the ceiling till i yelled that he was rolling flat paint on my semi gloss ceiling. At that point i called the owner who did not return my call till 11 am the next morning. He tried to convince me that the men were priming with the white flat paint, but i argued, why would you prime a ceiling that has already been finished! at 12 noon the lead painter finally showed up telling my wife that it was all his fault and he should not have left his cousins alone. I work 2 jobs and was not able to see the completed painting job cause the floor guy moved in and sanded and stained the floors, he also arrived 2 hours late and refused to cover up the furniture that my wife and i had moved into the next room. the floor guy did not want to come early to apply the poly and then come back later in the day to apply another coat cause he said the owner only pays him 5 hrs a day and he lives far so i would have to live with my house in shambles for 5 days while he came back everyday to apply more polly. After the floors were complete and i can walk around my house i started noticing the disaster that they called a paint job. The walls had not been sanded, they did not fill any nail holes and the one spot they did patch up they didnt sand or apply the needed coats of paint to give it the semi gloss look. after 3 phone calls to the owner he called back angry and told me the job is complete and thats that when i called him back i was threatned and screamed at. I asked my wife where the paint was so i can fix the mistakes and when she showed me where they left the paint i came to find it was not benjamin moore as was stated on my contract. I am now in the process of finding an attorney to take legal action against the most unproffesional company i have ever dealt with. I must take some of the blame cause i did not do my homework. when the job was complete and i saw how bad it was i began to read about them on the internet and found 8 to 10 other stories just like mine with the same company. Bottom line is stay far away from Deros painting.

Two different teams, one for wood floors, one for tile work. Prompt response to query, follow-up calls to confirm arrival times and scope of work, best estimate in terms of cost, totally professional crews for both projects, great communication, arrived when they said they would, cleaned up completely and took care of discarding carpeting and old tile. Absolutely no mess or dust from sanding - they protected all surrounding areas. Accommodating, demonstrated expertise, couldn't be happier with the results of both projects.

By this spring, several areas are peeling and bubbling. We have called since May requesting they return and honor the 3 year guarantee of the work. In May they said they would send someone over and look at it, and they could fix the problem by the end of June. No one has ever shown up or called. They will not return repeated phone calls or letters.
