Steve and his team worked cooperatively with my electrician to run the gas line for our whole house generator. He is knowledgeable and professional. We will use him for re-grading our backyard this year.

I hired Steve to grade my yard and fill in some big depressions. He is very responsive and polite, and he did everything he promised to do and more at the quoted price. He is very honest and professional in everything he does. His equipment looks brand new and it was perfect for the job. I would recommend him highly for excavation work. I would certainly hire him again for this type of work and for hauling work which I didn't need at this time.

Con man. He doubled the agreed price upon pickup and a day late. I ordered a dumpster he came with a trailer 20% full. He lied more than once. I told him to dump it and get off my property.

"The customer did want a dumpster. I told him I have a dump trailer that is equivalent to the size of a ten-yard dumpster. I told him I will bring it by, he can take a look and if he did not need it I will leave. I also asked him before I came how much junk he have- he said he needs to fill it a quarter to half full so I gave the price of $175. When I came to pick up the trailer it was full to the hilt. Overloaded. I reiterated that we agreed to fill it halfway. I charged more upon arrival as a result of this. When compared to renting a ten-yard dumpster at the price of $550 plus tax, my price was still significantly lower."

ACR actually cared about my project and really wanted to help . Steve went above and beyond the scope of work , was diligent and worked hard to help me accomplish my goal . I hired Steve Browne from ACR Hauling of Trumbull, CT to remove a huge cedar, metal, and plastic children's swing set with monkey bars, fort, and slides in Darien, CT in the middle of December. What can I say about this experience? Generally, when you hire someone for the first time you feel trepidation but with Steve, I felt comfortable right away. As for the work performed, he gave me a fair price, came on the day he said he would come, cleaned and swept my basement, and charged exactly what he said he would.
