They replaced our roof and less than 10 months later it was leaking so badly that buckets and towels were needed to catch the water that was falling through our bedroom ceiling. What makes the situation worse is when I called Tony, the owner, he refused to send someone out to look at it without me agreeing to pay him even more money first! He refused to take responsibility for the leaking roof and ended up hanging up on me saying “he doesn’t do charity work” and “that I should be grateful that he even returned my calls”. I don’t think that paying in full for a complete roof replacement, and expecting someone to come out and repair a severe leak within a year of the brand new roof’s installation as asking for charity!! Run, don’t walk away from this company!! They obviously do shoddy work and the refuse to take ownership of it when it fails! I will be reporting them to the BBB in the hopes that no one else has to go through this!!

Not well skylight did not match other 2 when questioned he said no one looks up. He had ordered first skylight. We had an agreement that I would purchase 2 matching skylights and he would install for certain price. He said he is not doing the job. Do not hire this guy his answer is I didn't say that or I don't remember that

The job went quickly and to schedule. Work appears to be good quality.
All went well until the end when the owner wanted an additional $400 for flashing that was never discussed with us. Left their dumpster in front of our house after job completion while they put debris from another job in the area into it.

The workers did a clean, quality job. They replaced the flashing, and also any weathered, compromised plywood as needed. They began promptly and finished within one business day. The product color, quality, and aesthetics look outstanding.

He was excellent. He was very accommodating. He did things I didn't expect people would do. He went out of his way to really help us. It's been a couple of months since he finished the job and so far, it looks beautiful. I am very happy overall.

Delivery of shingles and other materials went well with the driver placing the pallet in my driveway exactly where I requested. The dumpster also was placed in front of house in street. When the installation crew arrived, 8 workers jumped out of the rear of the utility truck like a swat team. These guys know their stuff. Each worker knew exactly what he had to do, very few orders were given by the lead man. All were very skilled and proud of their work. Clean up was exceptional and they even installed a chimney cap which I provided. Dumpster was removed with no nails or materials left in street. The 24 X 40 foot house, 24 X 24 foot garage and the breezeway were completed in one day. Tony Santos is a gentleman and he has exceptional people working for Aand G.

This was a great experience! Tony and his crew made the whole experience worry free. We had gotten 5 quotes they came in the middle. What we liked about tony is he is honest and will spend the time to explain all your questions. We had him come twice so we could ask follow up questions and he was very responsive. When we made the initial call he came out to the house in two hours and looked over the roof. Any questions we had he answered his phone quickly or called back very quickly. I was concerned with a few leaking areas in the roof and wanted to make sure there was good communication between him and the foreman. They both came out to the house and looked over the areas of concern so there were no issues when they got started. Once the skylight came in, about 4 days they started removing the shingles. The whole job was done in a day and a half. Pretty impressive for a 2900 sq house!! They also only removed the shingles for the area they were planning to replace that day which reduced the risk of water damage. Great idea sice it did rain that night. Overall I would not hesitate to recommend tony's crew to anyone! Tony communicated very well, didn't pressure sell on anything, crew cleaned up as if knowing was there. You know they are a good crew when the shingle delivery people are telling us you picked a great roofer. I've heard of many horror stories about half complete jobs, we didn't have to worry about that with tony because now payment was due till the job was complete and we could inspect the work. If your going to spend the money on a roof you want it done right and that is totally what we received and more I couldn't be happier!

Despite it being winter, his crew completed the job in two days. Clean up was impressive -- nothing found in garden beds. The only negative was that the dumpster hauler didn't clean up the driveway after removing the container. He left behind some scraps and nails. Fortunately we spotted them before driving over them.

My roof and one of two skylights was damaged due to wind from Storm Sandy. I got two estimates from A and G - one for limited repair of the most damaged area and one for a complete roof replacement. Tony, the owner, was quick to look at the house and get us an estimate. He had done work for our neighbors and they had been pleased with the work.
After my insurance claim was settled we chose to do the whole roof. Skylight windows were ordered, we waited to hear back and it took a phone call on my part to get things moving again. Snow and bad weather delayed things until after Christmas.
The materials were dropped off on a Wednesday afternoon, the roof was stripped, skylights installed, and 90+% of the house was completed on Thursday. They came back on Friday and were done with the rest of the house, the garage, and a thorough cleanup by noon on Friday - a day and a half was all it took. Tony uses a large crew that works fast - no one ever seems to be standing around. The place was a mess during the job, but well cleaned before they left each day.
Tony called Thursday night to tell me there would be an extra charge for the third layer of shingles - his original estimate was for two layers. It ended up being $300 extra. I did not dispute it even though an addition on the house and the garage were only 1 layer. On Friday I called him to ask that black tar on the house siding be cleaned off (apparently some torn-off shingles hit the house on the way down). His crew came back to do it and they rolled the yard a second time to get any stray nails - he said call again after the snow melts if it needs it again.
I paid him by check and they left me a dozen leftover shingles in case I need to do a repair in the future. All in all, a temporary big mess, but well done and professional.
