Referred by Angie's list "A-rated" General Contractor.  Orion is owner-operated by licensed arborist.  Responsive to request for estimate which he performed that Saturday.  Work was scheduled for two weeks later based on work load.  Postponed work on two occasions; not great communication notifying me of that fact.  Had to chase for status and Cert of Insurance until work began.  Owner operator with small crew, communication improved while work was being performed.  Had to break work into three, partial day sessions over approx. 2 weeks even though total of work was probably 8 hours for his crew.  Quoted price was approx. 20-25% below estimates from two other Angie's List A-rated arborists.  I kind-of knew I was trading price for professionalism when receiving this quote, but felt the owner seemed to know what he was doing and seemed like he would be quality oriented.  I think I was right and am happy with the trade-off I made.  But you probably won't come away with the feeling you were dealing with an A+ type outfit.  But you save several hundred to a thousand dollars as part of that trade.  No issue with quality of work; in fact, one of the starts\stops in service was because owner found a squirrels' nest in the tree being cut-down and asked if I would permit him to leave base of tree uncut for 10 days in order not to effect the nesting.  I agreed and he arrived about two weeks later to complete remaining 75% of work over two consecutive days.
