I am usually not the one to write reviews, but, in this instance, I feel that unprofessional conduct by Scoville Plumbing needs to be shared with other potential customers.  Too make a long story short, Tom, I believe that was his name, came to my house on time and was very nice and pleasant to deal with.  There was a problem with my insurance company, I have coverage that covers various things in the house that break.  I was a little agitated that AHS did not cover caulking, but after some thought told Tom to proceed.  After he spent less than an hour doing the job, I paid around $400.  Thinking about it the next day, I though that the price was too high for the amount of work performed.  I spoke with the owner, Tom, also, I believe, and asked about the price, as well as wanting to see the itemized bill. I was told that he will get back to me as soon as he speaks with the gentlemen who performed the service.  Well, over a month later, and after several more phone calls to the office, I am still waiting.  I was assured by a very nice lady in the office, Linda, that Tom will call me as soon as he is back in the office....didn't happen.
Honestly, I was not expecting to get any money back, but at least get an explanation of the charges, itemized bill, etc.  The total non responsiveness is very surprising and appalling.  I really hope there is a simple explanation for this, would be happy to hear about it.

Great, even though he solved my problem, he would not accept any money.

Started thursday.  Water tank to well needed to be replaced.  Tom came out because I had no water. He put in a new tank for me.  Just to put a tank in cost me $1045.00!  The pump ran all night and by the next morning I was out of water again.  I called and told them they needed to come back out and give me some water. This happened several times and after they put the new pump on they realized they did not shut the valve off!  What a terrible job!  I would not recommend this company to anyone!  I have tried to call Tom this morning and he did not want to talk to me.  He was rude and said he would take $30 off my bill and hung up!  For four days we had no water.

Installation was done correctly and the plumber left the area clean. However, the installation took nearly 3 hours and supposedly required and quot;specialand quot; parts. After talking to friends, neighbors and a contractor, it appears we overpaid. We had just moved into the house and were excited to get our new appliance installed so we paid, but not sure we would use this plumber again solely based on price.

He was very professional and courteous. Did not waste time. Was helpful with question asked and any suggestions needed.
Would contact them again

All went well and the service was quick and tidy .The serviceman was very helpful with any questions I may have had in respect to the sump and anything else relating to it. Left all decisions to me and was not forceful but helpful. Called on 5/7/2013 and he came on 5/7/2013

My experience with them was good. They were very responsive. They were expensive. They did a good work.

Plumber arrived within window. Only flaw was he had not been told to call me at work beforehand, so he had to wait for me.
He worked quickly and was concerned about my making a meeting I told him I was scheduled for. He was out of here within the time he said he would be.
I will be anxious to see the bill!
I would be willing to call Scoville again.

arrived on time, was pleasant and likable. Dressed neatly and cleanly. went right to work. worked quickly, quietly, and in a timely manner. Finished right on time. Bill was as estimated. We were pleased.

They showed up promptly and completed the job within 20 minutes. My problem was resolved very quickly.

The job became more extensive after contracting to have a toilet put in. We don't think that the additional work was unreasonable it just should have been quoted up front.

The most knowledgeable of the four contractors we had give an estimate. Very high quality workmanship. 5% discount for payment on receipt.

Scoville was understanding and professional working with us through a very difficult renovation on an old house. They stuck to their original estimates and worked with us to complete the project when additional work was necessary. The owner of the company is accessible and was quick to respond to our concerns. The project manager was also easy to work with and very helpful. Other staff at the office and in the field were professional, courteous and respectful.

They were very efficient in getting here, were on time and here when they were supposed to be. The gentleman they sent was very polite and even took a look at another job and offered some advice since he was able to finish the work so quickly. It was a good experience and I would definitely use them again.

THIS COMPANY SHOWED UP TO WORK WITHIN A FEW DAYS AND ARRIVED ON TIME. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL WHILE IN THE HOME AND I HAVE BEEN VERY PLEASED WITH THE RESULTS.
