The facility is clean and virtually odor free.  Receptionist personable and efficient.  Less than 10 minutes in waiting room, 5 more in exam room.  This was our 4 year old, rescued Russian Blue's first visit to Dr. O'Grady and the cat remained calm and cooperative under the Dr.'s gentle, no-nonsense handling.  
This is our third pet to be placed under the care of North Torrington Veterinary Hospital.  Their fees are very reasonable. They are conveniently located with ample parking and I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking quality veterinary care for their animals.

Dr O'Grady was recommended to me when I received my first Pomeranian 3 yrs ago. I have used his services for routine health care, dental work and one emergency call. I've been 'in dogs' for over 40 yrs and Dr O'Grady is a wonderful veterinarian. We are fortunate to have him.

We see Dr. O'Grady here. We have known him and done business with him for over 20 years. We have used him for the kids' pets, including a Dachshund, a bulldog, and a Shih Tzu. It's never a problem making an appointment. His answering service is usually him. The phone will always direct you to someone. He has been very accommodating. He never does anything unnecessary. Both of my large dogs ended up with cancer. I was told what the expensive side of it would be for both, and I was also told what the natural side of it would be like. He is very holistic, up-front, and honest with you. If he is available, he will come in on his off-time. His staff is very nice and gentle. I have to get them to speak up because they're so quiet. He is very informative. He is knowledgeable about natural alternatives. I had a dog with mange, and this man took care of the dip once a month for a year at minimal charge.

Their hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, they open a little later around 9 AM, so they have odd hours, but their prices are extremely reasonable. They are very caring and responsive.
