About us
Our company is based on the belief that our customers' needs are of the utmost importance. Our entire team is committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers and referrals. We give a personal labor warranty and we are a GAF MasterElite Authorized Installer. There is a 50 year 100% Warranty on all labor and materials at NO pro-ration. During the 50 year period, should any work need to be re-done, ALL expenses would be covered including but not limited to labor, material, dumpster and clean-up. We encourage all of our valued customers to contact the Better Business Bureau at (203) 269-2700. We have had an A+ rating for several years and work hard for our customers to keep that rating. We would welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver you the best service in the industry. Please call 860-496-7003 or email [email protected] to schedule an appointment!

I just want to say right up front that it's probably possible that there's another company out there who can do an equally good job on a roof. But you won't find anyone who can do a better job. I am 100% convinced there is no better roofing company out there than D J Hall Roofing.
After I initially contacted Dan, he responded very quickly with a phone call, and then was out the next day to write up an estimate. Throughout the entire preliminary process we communicated mostly through email (my preference). Whenever I would email him, I would usually have a response back within an hour or two. Awesome!
One of the things I wanted beyond shingles and gutters was to have my rake edges replaced because of carpenter bee damage. Dan recommended a much less expensive (but equally effective) way to make the rake edges look like new than what I proposed. I really appreciated that. It made me feel much more comfortable going forward, that I wouldn't be taken advantage of.
After we decided to go with them, Dan came out to my home a few days before and introduced me his crew's foreman, and to go over all of the particulars. I really appreciated that too, so I knew who I could talk to about any concerns once the work began on the roof.
The crew could not have been more professional. What a great experience, and they did phenomenal work. I was out there watching most of it, and several times a day the foreman would come over and ask if I had any questions or concerns. I was amazed at how efficiently they worked.
Prior to having my roof done, I never really paid attention to other roofs. Now I'm obsessed with looking at other roofs! And I can tell you that DJ Hall Roofing performs small (but important) details on their roofs that I don't see on a lot of other roofs, and that were not offered to me from other companies that gave me estimates.
One of the biggest concerns with having someone do a big job like a roof is that you are at their mercy. If they start the job and get up there and tell you that you need to now replace all the plywood (increasing the cost by a LOT), what can you do? There was none of that with this company. He came out, gave me an estimate, and did an honest job. I can't say enough good things about them.
One last thing. I gave an A rating for price. That was based on the quality of work, the professionalism of the company, and all of those small details that they took care of. My guess is you can get another company to do good work for less money. But I don't believe you can get a company to do the same exact job, for less money. That to me is key.
Also, contract stated "includes dumpster" then was billed for one. That sort of thing.
BE CAREFUL WITH THIS GUY!!!
However the crew did a great job- have to say that.
