Nordic Builders

It's a new house. I'd heard lots of terrible stories from folks who'd bought new houses from other builders. The only surprises we've had with Nordic have been nice ones. For example, we had the home inspected before signing the papers. The inspector said it was one of the best and most over-built homes he'd seen. The small problems he found were corrected quickly. Or the time I noticed a couple of screens were missing. Turns out, fun coincidence, that as I was about to email them about it an email came in from Nordic saying that they had our screens and when could they put them in? Or when I was hiring a lawn contractor to get the grass in shape. The lawn company asked me to ask the builder if they had seeded at all (this was late winter, tough to tell). Nordic got back telling me to hold on, that they themselves were going to prepare the lawn, they were just waiting for spring. They did, and it looks pretty good. My advice to homebuyers: Check with Nordic to see if they have something that fits you. If they do, buy it!
