Mike and his crew admitted their mistake and suggested a cut & patch correction. (The corrective action was to cut in a gully in front of the garage to allow water to flow away from the garage.) At the time I voiced my position to Mike that this cut/patch would cause ice accumulation in the winter and water to continue to flow back into the garage. In addition Mike used different aggregate to complete the Cut/Patch work causing color variation and potential future surface heaving.
Mike personally agreed that this would be a short term fix and he would redo the job in the Spring to mutual satisfaction.
Mike was informed and given the opportunity to review proof on April 23 that his cut/patch work did not work. Mike was then asked to schedule a time when he could redo the job as agreed.
Mike informed me on April 23rd that he did agree to fix the job but decided not to make good on his commitment. Mike told me to seek any means of retribution as he is walking away from his commitment.
