We had an emergency - our water pump tank failed and water was flooding our basement. I shut off the tank and called a couple local plumbers but none were available. Then I called LaFramboise Well service in Thompson. Their team arrived in about 30 minutes and replaced our 29 year old pump and valves with a new system in less than an hour. Amazingly quick service and a job well done! Very pleased we chose to call them (it was the first time we'd used them).

We called Laframboise Well drilling to drill a well they drilled the well and also installed a pump. one year later Christmas eve with company coming from everywhere and anticipating a full house. The pump failed. Shorted out. We had no water. In a quick panic we called the Laframboise company and they told us it would be 350 per hour to come and check the pump due to the holiday and weekend, that it would all be overtime work. “Christmas was a disaster”... The cooking the cleaning the company traveling long distances to join us for our Christian holiday celebration , The one time a year everyone gets to get together all at one time. By Monday we all got to smelling pretty funny we called a electrician, The electrician called a few people after all the testing he did and found a pump person to come and pull the pump on Tuesday our 4 th day without water our suspicions being correct , We had not one but 3 shorts. One short was due to the schmucks pinching the wires in the pipe cap. I mean you think it was their first day, The other two further down the line due to only 2 shock suppressors put on 60 feet of pipe,,, The shotty work they did ... The wires not properly taped to the water line completely was the fault. I am saying do not call these Jumoke’s. The people who came fixed all the shorts added more suppressors and taped the electrical wires to the pump in several places... Save yourself time and money. I will post this on google, yelp and everywhere I can post to warn the public of their shotty work, I contacted the company for a refund, long story short, I got a email from the president saying that he was sorry this happen to us and if we contacted them they would of helped us…( lol are you kidding me) We did contact them and it would have been double the normal rate we was encouraged to wait until Tuesday, ….. The VP Earl was zero help I mean zero…. the president was the same out of all the inconveniences they caused us and several other families attending our holiday celebration from abroad we only asked for the mere 500 and change dollars spent on the labor and parts. They would not refund us and our inconveniences all due to their sloppy workmanship. I would not recommend this company not even to another planet.

Response from Laframboise Well Drilling Inc
"[member name removed] informed our sales rep that it had been determined that his old, shallow dug well had run dry.....during the fall dry period. Our sales rep (with over 30 years experience)met with [member name removed] on November 25th and sat with him, at his kitchen table to discuss the process......during this meeting they inspected the basement conditions prior to writing the estimate........the estimate that he signed was $5600, not the amount that he states in his review. The well cover was too heavy and dangerous to lift with one man, so it was determined that it would be checked when the service techs were on site. We needed to spend money to obtain well permit from local health dept......and did so as he was anxious to have the well drilled ASAP. Subsequently he called to cancel the well.....never explaining that he had someone else there to fix a "rotten pipe"........with the only reason being that he was having difficulty securing the funds and that he would contact us once that situation was resolved. He never told us that he was unhappy with our estimate and has refused to pay for the permit that we obtained at his request. LaFramboise Well Drilling enjoys an impeccable reputation in New England and beyond......having been in business for over 58 years. We always strive to maintain the highest level of satisfaction for our customers! It is too bad that people are allowed to post reviews like this without any cause or evidence.....I guess that this is part of doing business today."

Laframboise Well Drilling technicians were prompt, knowledgeable, and thorough. They were able to diagnose and solve the problem of a well that tested positive for coliform and E-coli. They discovered cracks in the old well head, and so after replacement with a new well cap, thorough sealing of the system, and sterilization the well tested negative for any contamination.

Water Another water softener company inspected my water softener (which hadn't been serviced in some time)and promptly declared that it needed rebuilding or replacement and tried to sell me a new system for $2900. LaFramboise came out and said it just needed servicing. They added chemicals and charged me a little over $350. (The other company wanted $600 for the same service!) Now the water softener operates properly. I would definitely use them again.

Recently my well water pump burned out. I called LaFrambose and they had a replacement pump installed the next day. Very polite and professional from the management right on down to the crew that did the installation. They worked well past their normal working hours in that they had a problem with the earlier job they were on and understandably as a result the arrived late. They even called me to let me know that they were going to be late and were very apologetic. Even so, the guys were still polite and very efficient. "They know their stuff". I would recommend this company to anyone. AAA+++. Cost was about what I expected from other estimates, and the quality was right on.

They did an excellent job. I don't think they do septic tanks; they just do wells. I had gotten a water softening system from them over a decade ago. However, I have been having trouble with the system and I have been trying to troubleshoot it myself for several months. Since it did not work, I figured the problem was with the well pump, the pressure tank, or the softening system. So, I called them yesterday and told them that the work was important. They came out this morning and they spent about three hours troubleshooting and fixing the system. They did whatever they could do with the well system, but now, my well water is so dirty that it has gotten into the pipes. Now, everything is dirty and clogged up. It was not their fault; they were troubleshooting the system and it bypassed the system. It normally happens. Now, I have to spend the rest of the day cleaning everything up. They are well people and not plumbers. So, they did what they were supposed to do. They proved to me that it was not the pump in the ground and I did not have to replace that. They proved to me that it was not the pressure tank and I did not have to replace that either. There were some problems with the water softening system. They completely disassembled the system, took it apart, and cleaned it up. It was really clogged and dirty. So, that was the problem for the flow restriction in the faucet. There was no pressure in the faucet. They solved the problem and they did a good job. They charged a reasonable price. I will use them again in the future if required.
