SCOTT'S CARPENTRY

The work took much longer than we were verbally told, but they finished within the contract date. Overall it was a good value, but we had several frustrating moments throughout. If you don't mind personally dealing with workers (having to constantly talk to them about things, etc), then they are fine.. but if you are looking for people to come in, get the job done quickly & very carefully... then this is not the company for you. They aren't very clean, the new siding is dirty and stained, we are still finding nails and other debris around the yard and on the roof. The guys were all very nice though. I don't think we could have beat the price elsewhere for what we ended up with. We have looked at other newer vinyl sided houses, and ours looks pretty good if not better. The windows are great.

We had a roof installed a few years ago and developed several leaks. We called to get an estimate to perform repairs. We left many messages, set up appointments which were missed, finally after 3 months of begging for them to come look at the project, they showed up. They have failed to even respond with a proposal. Out of "loyalty" we decided to consider them for the repairs, since they did the original work. There is no sense of customer courtesy at all with this firm. Based on their poor ratings, we are glad we never had them perform the work. Based on this website, we have completed our repairs with a firm that ACTUALLY appreciated our business, BEWARE...

THEY WERE VERY SLOPPY. THEY HAD NO REGARD FOR OTHER PEOPLE'S PROPERTY. I FOUND JUNK IN MY LANDSCAPE THAT THE HAD LEFT. THEY ALSO DESTROYED A PLANT THAT MY WIFE'S MOTHER HAS BEEN PLANTING FOR MANY YEARS.

THEY WERE SUPPOSE TO PUT A 40 YEAR ROOF ON AND INSTEAD PUT A 30 YEAR ON. THEY DAMAGED GUTTERS ON THE HOUSE AND WHEN THEY WERE FINISHED SOME OF MY TOOLS WERE MISSING. THEY DID NO CLEAN UP. MY WORDS TO OTHERS IS DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

WHEN THEY CAME, THEY WERE VERY PREPARED. I WAS VERY ASTOUNDED BY THE WORK THEY HAVE DONE. THEY WERE VERY CLEAN AND PICKED UP ALL THE MESS THEY HAD LEFT BEHIND. I THOUGHT THEY WERE FANTASTIC.

THIS COMPANY HAD HORRIBLE WORKERS THAT SHOWED UP WHENEVER THEY WANTED. I HAD TO THREATEN THEM TO FINISH THE WORK SOON OR I WAS GOING TO HIRE SOMEONE ELSE TO FINISH. THEY IRRITATED ME A LOT AND THEY DID NOT CLEAN UP COMPLETELY.
