It went fine. He got it completely cleaned out, checked it visually, and ran water from a gardern hose through it at full flow with no problems.

I have used Steve numerous times over the years for various drains that clog on me.  Every time he responds promptly, does the unclogging an a professional manner, and leaves a work site that is in the same condition he found it or better.  He is always pleasant to work with and charges a reasonable amount for a job well done.

My elderly mother's pipes were clogged and toilet and washer were backing up to overflowing. I called Steve at 12:00 yesterday and explained that my mother and her caretaker had to leave her house because the sinks and toilet were not draining. Steve cleared his schedule for late yesterday afternoon and was on site at the time he said he would be - within an hour. He cleared out the clog which was caused by roots in the pipe going out to the septic tank,. He drained the washer, and tested the other drains. To top it all off he gave my mother an elderly discount.
So all-in-all a great service, on time, at a great price. I would recommend Steve to anyone with a drain problem.
He said his specialty is clogs and drains. Give him a call.

He verified that the septic tank was not full and there was more than likely a block in the line. He went through the basement toilet since the main septic pipe was buried in the finished basement wall. Removed the toilet and unclogged the line within 20-30 mins. 15 minutes later re-seated the toilet and clean septic drain pipe.
