The tie rod on my wife's car was dangerously loose. Checkered Flag Auto fixed it quickly and did it right. They were helpful explaining exactly what was done and why. They also gave us a good deal on four new tires. Would highly recommend.

Needed to have my A/C checked as a quick-change oil place said my system was running too high and that my refrigerant needed to be changed and my system could breakdown at any time (of course they could do it for a couple hundred $). Was dubious about that as they said I needed some other repairs which I later confirmed was false. Saw Checkered Flag's coupon for $119 for complete evacaution, recharge and leak detection for A/C. Nathan Miller (owner) was able to get me in same day I called. He gave me the complete price $134.00 and advised what made up the price (coupon price + the new tax + haz mat charge) before any work was started. (And, that's what I paid at the end of the service). He answered all my questions thoroughly and explained his experience (he was fully trained at an auto dealership and had worked there many years). He was friendly and very knowledgeable. After doing the service he advised that my system was down only .5 lbs and that my system was not running too high and everything checked out fine. He said it should actually be a bit colder than it used to be and that also mentioned the A/C pressure can actually fluctuate from day to day depending on a variety of atmospheric parameters. I've been looking for a mechanic I can trust and I think I've found him. I'll definitely go to him again if I need maintenance or servicing for my vehicle. He said he also does any other repairs like motorcycles, ATVs and small engines. Was very pleased with the service and value.
