Hired for a chimney inspection. I strongly recommend using another company. They charged $150 plus tax for chimney inspection that was less thorough than companies providing free estimate for chimney work. He briefly looked in the attic, fireplace, and basement before writing up a quote for chimney repair work. He did not get on the roof to inspect the outside of the chimney (two story house) and as a result missed cracks in the crown and gaps in mortar that others photographed. Other chimney companies who recently came out (at least 3 within the past month) went on the roof and spent the same amount of time viewing the attic, fireplace, and basement, for no cost.

During a recent rain and wind storm I noticed My chimney cap blew off. I was eager to get it fixed ASAP. I called and Steve answered right away and was at my house within the hour. He fixed the cracked chimney and repaired and replaced top all in less than an hour. He even gave me advice for future repair and a good quote. I highly recommend this chimney service. Thanks again

The owner was extremely knowledgeable about my chimney and what needed to done. He gave me a great quote and showed up on the day scheduled. I dont know much about chimneys but he showed me what it looked like before and when it was done. I am extremely impressed and recommend him highly!

Wow is all I can say. I noticed something may have been wrong with my chimney. I called a bunch of numbers from a quick google search. The Top Chimney answered on the first ring and was so patient with me (someone with little experience in home repairs). I explained my issue and they talked me through my options. They fit me in the very next day and completely corrected all of my issues. The pricing was reasonable and the customer service was phenomenal. Iâ d highly recommend this company to anyone needing chimney/ fireplace work!

Recommend â Over the Top Chimneyâ . Lost the Chimney cover on a Sunday (today) before a Norâ easter and was panicked over the open chimney. Got a call back inside of 30 mins and Steve replaced the chimney cover within a couple of hours. The work was excellent and patiently explained. He provided pictures to show me the completed work which I could not see from the ground. Happy with pricing, too. No more worries. Thank you

Steve answered my call immediately. My issue was I had no heat and it turned out my chimney was blocked. Steve came and took care of problem by unblocking the chimney and putting a liner in. Steve and his helper Sammy did a very good job and followed COVID protocol. Would highly recommend. Thanks for the quick service.

Project: Re-pointing, new flue and fixing a very needed fireplace so we can use it now. Over the Top is a great company to work with. The guys are really hard workers, cleaned up each day after working. They really helped in doing stone work and attending to fixing a very needed fireplace. Totally recommend them.

They were easy to work with, very nice to me. They inspected my two chimneys and both needed repair. I'm in a 100 yr. old house. They replaced dampers, lined one chimney , repaired the floor of one fireplace, cleaned both, repaired the tops of the chimneys. They were very knowledgeable and conscientious. Worked until it was all done right. Great job guys!!
