From my first meeting with the sales manager from  Derosier, to get a quote for the cost of the move, to the delivery of furniture to my new home 140 miles away, everyone at Derosier was polite, professional, and pleasant.  They brought me cartons and packing supplies.  Alan Derosier, the owner, called me the day before the move to confirm the time and give me all the details.  I was very impressed that he was familiar with all the details of the move, the number of wardrobe cartons and all the special items that needed to be packed.  It was most helpful and reassuring.
Keith Derosier headed up the team of 4 very experienced, polite, efficient  and careful workers. They arrived right at the scheduled time at 8AM.  They put down protective runners on all the carpeting, shrink wrapped the upholstered furniture to protect it, carefully cartoned large framed art, mattresses, mirrors, and tv's.  They worked non-stop and packed everything up by 3PM.  The next day, the truck arrived a 9AM, as scheduled, and everyting was moved in and set up by early afternoon.  They had to disassemble a very large Ikea wardrobe to get it down the stairs and out into the truck.  and then reassembled it perfectly in the new house.  That is amazing service!  Everything was in perfect condition.
I couldn't recommend them more highly.

Movers picked up the refrigerator in CT the day before, meeting with my sister to gain access. Two men arrived at my NJ apartment precisely on time at 8AM the next day. They were cheerful and personable, making no complaints when they had to go up to third floor for boxes and to deliver refrigerator, and shrugging off the workload. They had to take a long way around on the Interstate - through a snowstorm that had started - to get to my storage company. Joked about the experience and remained in a good mood. Emptied my storage unit quickly and advised me of any damage noted on my belongings before moving them. Made the trip back to CT over the GWB, again snowing heavily - beat me back to my house. Spread coverings on my hardwood floors and proceeded to empty the van carefully, putting items where I wanted them. Throughout the day, they maintained contact with me, letting me know what was happening and what would be next. At the end, the lead mover calculated my charge based on hours taken and # of men, and it was $400.00 less than the estimate! (Which had been based on my best guesses re amount of items in storage unit). I was thrilled with the service, the price, and the attitudes of the men.

I thought the service was pretty poor. The truck that arrived to pack us up did not have enough room for our stuff and they had to leave it and have another truck to get the rest of our items. They got to our home with the first truck and wanted full payment and we had to call and negotiate as not all of our stuff had arrived. It took a week for the rest of our furniture to arrive.

We would highly recommend the Derosier/Arpin company.  The staff was outstanding, organized, hardworking, and prompt.  All of our concerns and questions were responded to cheerfully and in a timely manner.  Our buyers had to get one mortgage extension after another, prompting delays in our schedule.  The people at Derosier handled these unscheduled delays with great patience and understanding. They are a wonderful company to work with, and took the pain out of our move to Florida.  They even got rid of furniture items we later decided we no longer needed in our newly purchased home.  Outstanding service on both ends of the move. 

The packing crew was very hard working and never wasted a minute.  The same was true of the crew that unloaded for us in Florida.
