The work was done efficiently, in a very professional and conscientious manner, taking great care in laying out the tile, selecting proper grout color, uninstalling and reinstalling wood trim; covering steps to prevent any damage, and caulking where appropriate (i.e. sink to backsplash); also arrived on time to facilitate the homeowner's timely departure to work; all debris was removed offsite, no cleanup required by the homeowner; also locked house, as requested, upon departure.  We consider this contractor very responsive, courteous, trustworthy and, for sure, an expert tile installer.  We trust his judgement and plan to request his services again in the future.

I interviewed six tile installers before I met Andy. He was professional, respectful, and very pleasant to work with. He presented new ideas and project suggestions that complimented my vision for our new house. My initial concern was strictly the barrier free shower for my elderly mother. Andy was the only installer that appeared confident, could explain the project, and didn't need to make major construction changes to accommodate the shower. The shower came out beautiful (Andy even added bonus tile features) and functional and impresses everyone that sees it.
The success of the first bathroom led us to hire Andy for one project after another. Each project exceeded our expectations.
Having had a house full of various contractors was a learning experience for me, but Andy was by far the most respectful and conscientious worker on site.
We have run out of tile projects for now, but I know that if I ever have any questions or concerns about our tile, Andy will be available for assistance.

We waited 10 years to install the mural and backsplash in our kitchen because we could not find someone sufficiently experienced with glass tile who would give us a reasonable quote.

Although Andy's quote was not the lowest -- as a matter of fact, his quote came in at about the midpoint of all the quotes we'd gotten over the years -- he had been recommended to us as being both an artist and a perfectionist.  That was EXACTLY what we were looking for.

He told us right from the get-go exactly how many days it would take.  He arrived promptly each day, exactly when he said he would.  He offered some ideas that were different from what we had in mind, and each time, his recommendations were spot-on.  With only one chance to get our backsplash right, we were grateful and appreciative to have someone who has done MANY such applications advise us on considering a different grout color for the mural than we were using for the rest of the surrounding area.

In the end, we were so excited about the finished installation that we've had a stream of people in and out of the house to view his work over the last several days, and everyone has been as impressed as we were.  Our backsplash is perfection, and we are incredibly glad that we waited long enough to stumble upon someone who is THIS good.

We have a smaller project in the bathroom, and given the quality of what we have seen so far, we decided pretty quickly to go with him again.

Andy removed the existing flooring, put down the underlayment and then installed the tile and grout.  It was a large job and took almost 2 weeks to complete.  Andy helped by doing the job in sections so that we would have as little disruption as possible.  He did a great job and rates 5 stars in our book.
