The success of the first bathroom led us to hire Andy for one project after another. Each project exceeded our expectations.
Having had a house full of various contractors was a learning experience for me, but Andy was by far the most respectful and conscientious worker on site.
We have run out of tile projects for now, but I know that if I ever have any questions or concerns about our tile, Andy will be available for assistance.
Although Andy's quote was not the lowest -- as a matter of fact, his quote came in at about the midpoint of all the quotes we'd gotten over the years -- he had been recommended to us as being both an artist and a perfectionist. That was EXACTLY what we were looking for.
He told us right from the get-go exactly how many days it would take. He arrived promptly each day, exactly when he said he would. He offered some ideas that were different from what we had in mind, and each time, his recommendations were spot-on. With only one chance to get our backsplash right, we were grateful and appreciative to have someone who has done MANY such applications advise us on considering a different grout color for the mural than we were using for the rest of the surrounding area.
In the end, we were so excited about the finished installation that we've had a stream of people in and out of the house to view his work over the last several days, and everyone has been as impressed as we were. Our backsplash is perfection, and we are incredibly glad that we waited long enough to stumble upon someone who is THIS good.
We have a smaller project in the bathroom, and given the quality of what we have seen so far, we decided pretty quickly to go with him again.
