Blazey Plumbing is very professional, they return phone calls and show up on time. They did very nice plumbing work on the two things we hired them to fix.

They were quick to respond, so no complaints there at all. The plumber they sent out recommended pouring vinegar down the shower stall and flushing it. I tried that for two days and reverting that it hadn't worked. Their only response was to now try bleach, but they made no effort to do anything. Were unable to give me a clear idea of costs and I found I was pushing for it during my call - was like extracting teeth! However, they did call me the morning of the service appointment to say the parts cost more than estimated and would I approve. I had to approve so we could get the appointment moving that day. Plumber did the job and so far the toilets seem to be working. He was competent. Mr Blazey is not as professional, however. The plumber left behind a hand-written 'invoice' that outlined the tasks he performed and then the total cost. No break up of parts cost and service cost. No mention of hours on job. Called Mr Blazey and asked for a detailed invoice - he sounded resistant and I had to insist on it. He stated that they do not provide back up bills for parts purchased. He resent the invoice with no back up bills for parts nor any mention of actual hours nor any mention of hourly rates. We were expected to take his invoice as is and pay up! $ 780 is a large amount for a seemingly small job and we do expect to see the details of what we're paying for. Among other things - Mr Blazey kept mangling my name and when I gently corrected him and spelled it out for him, his only response was 'it's too difficult to pronounce'. It's a small detail, but indicates rather poor attitude to a customer.

They did a great job. They were arranged for and paid by the general contractor who was remodeling the basement and we feel they made a good choice with this plumber.

This is a great company to do business with. They are very fair on price; they show up when they say then will, they return phone calls, they do excellent work and they cleanup afterwards. Example: the new sink was just a little too big for the opening left by the old one. They could have said, sorry, we'll need to have this cut larger to get the new sink in, and that could take us a day or two. But they had a carpenter there in 10 minutes, and they only raised the final cost by a small and reasonable amount over the original estimate. If you are in Fairfield County, CT and you need someone for plumbing, call this company first; don't even bother with anyone else.

We had no water, and it was Saturday night. We called Blazey Plumbing and described the problem to the answering service. Stephen called us back within two hours, at about 8:30 PM. He came over the next morning (Sunday) with the part and repaired it temporarily so we had water back, then came back on Monday to replace it permanently. Very responsive, knowledgeable, and good-quality work. He also installed our new boiler last year.

HE HAS BEEN COMING HERE FOR TWENTY YEARS. HE HAS BEEN VERY GOOD. I WOULDN'T KEEP HIRING HIM IF I WAS NOT HAPPY WITH WHAT HE DID. HE WORKED VERY FAST AND VERY EFFICIENTLY. I THINK IT'S THE SECOND WATER HEATER HE HAS INSTALLED FOR ME, AND HE WAS ABLE TO INSTALL IT VERY RAPIDLY.
