He did not accomplish what he had promised to do in the written contract.
Description of Work: A radon test detected a level of 4.2 pCi/L, in the basement, prior to the work that was done. A hole was drilled into the basement floor and a pipe was connected and run out the basement wall and up the outside of the home. A fan was installed. In the contract a guarantee was made that radon would be reduced to below 3.0 pCi/L. When a test was taken after the completed work (several months after) it was discovered that the radon level was 4.0 pCi/L still way above 3.0 pCi/L. The reduction of radon, after spending almost $1,000.00 was only .2pCi/L. After he came out and drilled another hole the radon level was reduced to only 3.5 pCi/L (less than 1 pCi/L and far from what was promised in the written contract.

It went well. They came on time and did a good job with the installation. I could have used more of a walk through after the job was completed, but it was fair overall.

Air fan is very noisy and noise travels to bedroom and am told there is no fix. Tried to have water carbon exchange tank serviced. I arranged specific appointment. Serviceman came 2 hours early without notification. I arrived to find note that he came early. Called his boss who just dismissed event and said no one would be able to come back that day. My time was wasted and no apology was made. Acted like he did not need my business.
Description of Work: Installed radon mitigation for air and water.
