 + 0 moreWe refer to Trudi as our own personal "Mary Poppins." She is the best. Trudi provides genuine love and care for our two kids. She looks after our little ones as if they were her own. Each morning, when I drop off my son and my daughter, they run over to Trudi to give her a huge hug. They very much enjoy the time they spend at Trudi's house. My wife and I are constantly amazed at all of the wonderful projects that Trudi does with the kids. Painting, drawing, making holiday decorations, cooking, reading - Trudi has an infinite number of ideas for fun projects to do with our kids. We have a number of wonderful childhood keepsakes that Trudi has helped the kids make; such as a painted wreath made from our son's footprints when he was 1. We hang it up in our house every year during the holidays. Trudi has helped us potty train our son and has been an invaluable source of good information that helps us provide better care for our children. She has been a day care provider for around 25 years and has a lot of useful knowledge that she has passed on to us. We are very lucky to have found Trudi and highly recommend her services. We can't say it enough - she is the best!
Description of Work: Trudi provides in home day care for children out of her home in Stamford, CT. Trudi watches up to 5 children on a given day. On sunny days, the kids go for a walk and play outside in her backyard. On colds or rainy days Trudi has the kids do arts and crafts indoors. Trudi has an extensive book collection and reads with the kids every day. Trudi has an extensive toy collection for kids to enjoy - indoors and outdoors. Trudi has the kids help her bake once or twice a month. During the summer, each kid gets a plot of land in her garden and grows their own vegetables to bring home. Trudi teaches the kids thier ABCs and 1,2,3s. Trudi typically cares for kids from 7:30 am to 6 pm. She can also provide baby sitting services at night and on weekends. Currently, Trudi charges $60 a day per child. If your child goes to her all 5 days a week, the price is $275.
