I tried calling several window cleaning companies to get price estimates and they did not work out for various reasons.
Stamford Window Cleaning was willing to give me an estimate over the phone after I described the number of windows and the layout of the house. I also identified the windows that I thought might be a little bit more challenging to reach. I was able to get an appointment to have the window cleaning performed within days after my call. The person I spoke to on the phone was the person who came to do the cleaning and he brought an ample team of workers with him. They worked quickly and efficiently. They were very neat - they brought drop clothes and made sure not to drip any cleaning fluid in the house. We live a few blocks away from the beach and they had to use a chemical on the outside of the windows to clean off a residue from the ocean air. Even so, they charged me the same exact price they estimated over the phone. I thought there was a chance they could charge more, since they had not actually seen the house and did not know they'd need to use the chemical on the outsides of the windows, but they kept to the original price. I would definitely use their services again.
