Seabreeze Cleaners

Send in a sweater to be dry-cleaned. When we got it back the sleeves were 6 inches too long. They put the sweater thru the process once more to test it. There was no improvement. So they said they can resolve the problem by cutting the sweater and sewing it and charging us $35.00 I am more than a little disgusted with their business practice. They did the damage but they want us to pay to resolve the problem. Their is even worst than their service.

This cleaners recently changed owners. We have had nothing but problems with the new owners. I had a new pair of pants that the hem came out of the first time I wore them so I took them in to have the hem resewn then cleaned and pressed. The pants were scheduled to be ready on a Wednesday. I went in the Saturday after they should have been ready and was told they were not quite finished but would be ready by 4:00 that day. I went in the following Monday and was told they were still being pressed. I waited about 10 minutes before my pants were delivered to me. They had not been pressed with creases in the front as I would have expected, but I took them anyway because I was in a hurry and figured I could re-press them at home. I was getting ready for a vacation and took the pants out of the plastic from the cleaners to wear them on the plane and saw large red spots on the backs of both legs as well as spots on the front right leg. I could not wear them. Upon my return from vacation, I took them back to Seabreeze to bring the spots to their attention. They said the pants had ink on them when I brought them in the first time and when they tried to get it out, the red spots appeared. I informed them that this was absolutely not the case. I had a 5-10 minute conversation with the man who is the new owner, he said he would try again to get the stains out then just turned his back on me and walked to the back of the store. I believe that they knew they had ruined my pants when I had them in there the first time. Any reputable cleaners would have noted the "ink stains" (if they existed, which they did not) when I first brought them in and would have brought any issues to my attention when I picked them up. I left my pants with them to try to get them clean. If they are not to my satisfaction, I will expect to be paid for them. I will absolutely not be returning to this business in the future.

We spend $80 on every visit. They do alterations as well. They have super friendly customer service and will pickup and deliver the clothes to my house. They do same day cleaning. They will work with me if I have a deadline and will get my stuff to me if wanted.

They used to have better quality but service deteriorated during the last few months. I have been a long time patron of this business but I cannot afford to keep buying new shirts. They destroyed almost all my shirts by the way the press the cuffs. Unfortunately, it is not easy to get dry cleaning shops that takes good care of shirts. I thought this was one of them but they proved me wrong.
