Excellent. Friendly, professional crew got the job done quickly and efficiently. Even gave me a ride to the new place. Great service. Extra points for squeezing me into his schedule on short notice.

I hired Mike back in the 1990's to move me from CT to DE - I could not have been happier with his service. So when I needed to move my aunt from CT to MA this summer, I was so happy to see Mike was available. His price was very reasonable, he was available on fairly short notice, and everything went very well. My aunt has a lot of antiques and fragile things, and all were delivered without a scratch.

The move went quickly and was stress free thanks to Mike and his merry band of movers. They showed up exactly when he said they would (8:15 am). They moved quickly, taking apart beds, hauling furniture and boxes down two flights of stairs into the moving van. They took down pictures and carefully wrapped them. Everyone was pleasant, professional, and cheerful despite the 90 degree weather. When we got to the new home, they quickly removed the furniture from the van, set up the beds in the new rooms and put boxes and furniture as we directed. We were in our new home by 2pm.
Both my husband and I felt that the price was extremely fair given the high quality of service performed. I have raved about them to all my friends and I would recommend them again and again.

I talked to Mike De Angelis while he was on the road moving somebody out of state. He said he couldn't accommodate our move date because he doesn't do business in CT during the snowy winter.
I asked him to advise me about choosing movers and he gave me some practical advice. He is down to earth and values quality service from providers he uses even at home. He knew he wouldn't gain us as customers because of his availability but he spent some time on the phone on his way back home.
If you have an out-of-state or local move, you may want to give Mike a shot if your calendars overlap.

They came on time. They were very proper and pleasant. They moved the furniture with lots of care from one room to the other, from one floor to the next. Mike is very skilled in moving furniture and sees where it can go right away. No waste of time. They came twice and were very professional. No damage was done on the new wood flooring, and the work was finished in a record time. We had agreed on a fixed price ahead of time. I found them reasonable. I will use them again in the future if I need to and will recommend them to my friends.

Upon first speaking with Mike (I called directly to inquiry about pricing), I could tell that he has been doing this for a while - he's all business and extremely efficient. He came to take a look at the place the next day and gave me a quote right then and there. This quote was very fair, especially compared to the outrageous prices some of the other movers were asking for. I also liked that the price Mike quoted me was all inclusive - it included 3 movers and the truck for however long it took to move. I'd be wary of other providers that charge you by the hour - lots of opportunity there to gouge you. The move itself went smoothly - on time and nothing damaged. Overall, a painless experience at a good price.

Mike was recommended by another mover who had too many jobs for the date. I appreciated Mike's honesty at the time of the quote, when he said that he was charging an extra $200 because of the date of the move, August 31, 2011. Mike shows up on all jobs, and he was prompt and professional. There was a crew of four men assisting him and they had moved all items out of the house (approximately a one bedroom apartment with a king sized bed and 80 boxes) in a little over an hour. They were just as fast unloading. Everything went as smoothly as a move could possibly go and I highly recommend MIke.

He spent approximately 5 hours loading the truck and a couple hours unloading. There was no damage to either the antiques or either houses. He charged a reasonable correct flat rate. He certainly did not ask for a tip but he did such a great job we did end up tipping him.
