Great experience. I phoned and got a call back. Jack came and picked up my torn screen. He provided me options. He returned it a couple days later. It was a perfect job. His pricing is extraordinarily fair. And again, the work is absolutely perfect. I found him to be very personable. Would not hesitate to phone him again if I needed help with any window or door screens.

Screens were repaired fine. However, the overall experience could have been better. 1) He wasn't easy to get hold of, many phone calls later, he claimed that he was out sick for 2 weeks. Assuming this was indeed true, surely he could have texted me back, or left a general voice mail to say he is out sick? 2) When he came to take our screen, my mother-in-law asked why he is taking the Living room screen, he decided to punch a few holes in the screen to make a point that its old and needs replacement. (While I understand his intent, he wasn't going to charge us more, but this is uncalled for). 3) When he is done repairing the screen, to put it back. His first question upon entering the house was, is my check ready? Are you sure? 4) In both trips to our house, we would have liked him to take off his shoes, or at least to put some plastic covering on it. He complied, but a bit impatiently. 5) He didn't want to lift his fingers to pull the blinds up, in order to put the screens back. He is a window guy after all. And insisted that my mother-in-law was the one physically pulling the blinds up. 6) To be fair to Jack, the screens were indeed repaired, and he charged the exact amount that we agreed upon up front. Which is why I'm giving him a C rating overall.

Provider will almost always answer the phone, and is very responsive.

The new screen seemed darker, and I was wondering why.  He said there are two colors for screens (grey and charcoal) and he advised against the charcoal.  He also said that the screen appears darker because it's new, and the color will fade over time. We definitely appreciate that he answered our question, and shared his knowledge with us.

He gave us a price break since we had a smaller screen window than expected.

We are pleased with the outcome, and the provider comes with our recommendation.

J and J did an excellent job. Jack, the owner, was extremely professional. He quickly responded to my first call, met with me several times before starting work, explained everything clearly, and gave me an accurate estimate of cost and time required to complete the job. Jack worked within my schedule, was always prompt and on-time, and always kept me "in the loop." Finally, Jack was practical, and cost as well as quality-focused. Additionally, Jack was very kind to my tenant, who was pregnant and living in the apartment when the installation was going on. This was much appreciated.

In summary, Jack did exactly what I needed, and was supportive and helpful throughout. It was clear that he had extensive experience manufacturing the kinds of screens that I needed (apparently, his company has been installing screens in my building and other buildings in the area for over 20 years). I had a great experience with J and J, and could not have been more pleased with its work.

After a week of waiting for him to call back, he came & repaired the screen on the same day.
