"In response to the customer’s review, let me clarify a few things: Pricing for any gutter cleaning, installation, or repair is NOT based on the amount of time the job takes. For all potential jobs, the customer is given an estimate based on the type of work needed to be done, the size and shape of the house, the slope and pitch of the roof, the amount of vegetation in proximity to the property (for cleanings), and the projected difficulty of the job. Because we are a fully licensed and insured professional gutter company, and not merely a private handyman with a ladder, we must also factor into the price our company’s cost to insure the job, to pay licensed technicians to complete the job, and to account for the overhead cost of materials, machinery, and travel. This is a policy that is personally explained to every potential customer of ours and is likewise outlined on our website so that the customer is fully aware of how we arrive at our projected costs BEFORE the job is confirmed and services are performed. As such, whether a job takes 30 minutes to complete or a week to complete, the amount of time a job takes is irrelevant. We are hired to perform a service and resolve a problem. True, non-integrated gutter covers can be removed in order to access the gutter, but this is not always necessary if the top of the gutter only needs to be blown off or cleared of debris in order to restore water flow. If the inside of the gutter is clearly visible through the screen, and no blockages are present, and water is flowing properly after clearing off the top of the gutters, then no, removal of the cover is not necessary. In fact, if the technicians did have to remove the covers in order to fix the problem, the customer would have to incur the cost of the additional labor. By fixing the problem with the covers on, we actually saved the customer money. In short, as noted in the customer’s review, we did, in fact, resolve the problem of his gutters overflowing, which is precisely what we were hired to do in the first place. Gutter Bros. LLC is committed to customer satisfaction, and we take pride in going above and beyond to make sure the client is happy with the service being performed and satisfied that the problem was taken care of professionally and as promised."
