Todd was extremely professional and did an amazing job to make the property look groomed again.

This is one of the most dependable and quality companies I have dealt with. They were always there early in the morning to get rid of our snow and clear a pathway for us. They maintained our yard for the better part of a year. The owner would personally come and make sure the job was being done correctly. When we moved and left the house vacant for 6 months, we knew that our yard and driveway would be taken care of.

Todd and team do it right. This was a BRUTAL winter in terms of the total volume of snow that fell. During some storms, he was forced to come several times/day and in a few cases i saw his plow coming down the driveway after 1AM. His team went the extra mile to shovel a portion of the driveway i had expressly let them know they didn't have to shovel and they always shoveled and swept clean a path from our front-door to the driveway. 1/3 of my driveway is gravel and there is no way NOT to end up with bear spots and large piles of gravel when the snow melts. Todd and his team made a point to come back and spread all the gravel out evenly again. Top notch. VERY good value for the monthly charge.

Experience went pretty well. They're supposed to come back to do a few more follow-up treatments but have not yet. Being new to the landscaping world, I'm not sure why the cost was so high initially if it's less than a day's work.They're very professional and well-knowledged. The lawn looked great after the job.

So far, so good. Spring cleaning, weeding, edging, and all the landscaping needs have been met.  Weekly maintenance is done in the timely manner.  I'm very happy for their service. 

I don't usually give an all A's review, and I'm skeptical when I see them, but the Ferber's deserve it!  They are responsive, honest and do all they can for you.  I usually clear my own snow with a snow blower, but this time I was away when our area got more than a total of 18" of snow and I needed to get to my garage when I got back.   I gave the Ferber's a few days to get to me and they did get me on their list of jobs to do.  Todd did an outstanding job and more than I asked him for.  Thanks doesn't say enough!

Came back from 2 week vacation to 3 feet of frozen snow in our driveway and no way to remove it. 2 hours and a combo of the truck and manual shoveling I can now get out of my driveway.
 The snow where the city plowed was 3 feet deep and frozen. It is now all pushed aside. The street was left clear as well - no dumping of the snow into the street. I can not thank you enough for getting us out of this mess. Professional, courteous and just amazing.

Yard management: mowing and other services

These guys did a great job.  The trees / shrubs were very overgrown - it looked like no one had trimmed them back in about 10 years.  Todd and his crew cut everything back, with a focus on getting things to a level where we can manage the landscaping ourselves moving forward.  (I was pretty impressed that he recommended this - not many contractors would be so keen on denying themselves future business.  Todd even told me which tools to buy and where to get them.)  Todd is very professional and very thorough, and he oversaw the entire job himself.  I actually thought the price was very fair - the only reason I gave a B rating is because it came in about 25% higher than the estimate.  (Todd was very clear upfront that the job was payable per man per hour, but the number of hours was higher than expected.)  I would definitely use these guys in the future though - very dependable and great quality.

Everything is going well.  They listen carefully to our requests, are very flexible in terms of scheduling, and do excellent work.

Not enough time to tell the story.  Overall it went perfectly.  No flaws.

Did a walk through with Todd Ferber to go over our list and get a rough estimate of the time required for the job. They ended up fitting us in over a long weekend, did more work for less money than we had anticipated. And then came back to walk through again to make sure we were happy with what they did. A level of care and professionalism we haven't seen in a while. I think we will be seeing a great deal more of Ferber Property Management in the future.

We have a healthy stand of hemlocks bordering our driveway that are, I'm guessing, about 14' tall and 25' long. They provide a beautiful privacy screen for our yard but needed trimming & I wasn't sure how deeply they could be cut back. My husband has always trimmed them but they are getting too tall for him to do safely. Todd Ferber came out and gave me 3 options as well as a tree expert's name if I wanted more of an arborist's knowledge of Hemlock care. From my conversation with Todd, my husband and I decided to have them trimmed back, without cutting into the brown branches in the center, and bringing the Hemlock branches away from the clapboard garage. Todd did exactly that. The Hemlocks look great. Everything was cleaned up and taken to the dump. The estimate was right on target and the price was reasonable.  Ferber Property Management was professional, knowledgeable, prompt, and clean.  I was very happy with the whole process which was done within a week of my search on Angie's List.

They were very responsive and did a good job. We could trust them to do their job.
