OUTSTANDING PROFESSIONAL!! Most recently this contractor coordinated the replacement of the main water line from the well, new driveway, stone wall, and new walkway to the front door. This man is a Project Manager expert. Coordinating the work of the sub-contractors became more challenging as a result of Covid illness, testing, quarantine, and resulting shifting schedules. This contractor understands the required timeline and pacing and exceeded my expectations. Previously we contracted with this company to install a large deck, replace the roof, and replace the wood siding. Craftsmanship in all projects was second to none! There is nobody else we would hire. As for integrity and honesty, his is above reproach.

Failed to pull permits when required Failed to come close to time to complete job (less than a quarter completed in the 50 business days he proposed) Misrepresented our position, and directly lied to subcontractors and vendors Lied about non-existent previous relationships with subcontractors Changed his disclosed fees from 10%, up to 25% of the total project costs, but actually invoiced 58% above what he paid subcontractors. Failed to pay subcontractors money we had paid to him specifically for the jobs completed, and claimed to the subcontractors that he had not been paid.

I hired them last year for a new home addition, I had issues at almost every stage of the construction phase. They did not study the plans made mistakes and blamed on the architect. They might be OK for a small job but they are not eligible when it comes to new construction or new home addition. My project was not finished on time or on budget. They backfilled the dirt after the excavation/foundation and raised the grade without asking anyone causing zoning issues for me. After they collected the final check they don't return my calls, texts or emails which is very unprofessional. I would NOT recommend them to anyone.

This is the second time I have used Digesu Building Contractor.  The first time was for a new deck in the backyard.  Vanderson Digesu and his team did such a great job that we hired him again to do the bathroom and hopefully the kitchen one day.  He came in on budget and on time and was patient and always ready with suggestions.  He and his team were professional and courteous as they took extra care in covering the floors and rugs.  I would definitely recommend them for any job you might have.

It wasn't without problems, but it came out nicely in the end.
Our ugly asphalt-covered patio had severe drainage issues and a sink hole right in the middle of it that made it unusable. We came up with an elevated patio design with a gravel patio surrounded by a block retaining wall, and asked DiGesu to do the work for us mostly based on their extremely competitive pricing.
The owner suggested some improvements to our plans, including the addition of underground pipes for drainage ? which to be honest saved us from further trouble and for which we're very grateful (because we didn't thinkabout it at all when designing the patio). He also was very helpful in sourcing excactly the gravel mix we wanted, natural colors that blend into the landscape.
The final result was exactly what we wanted, except for the steps leading to the patio, which were supposed to be rounded and ended up straight because the workers (subcontracted and speaking only Portuguese) never understood that the driveway would NOT be coming up to the steps. The next year, I had a mason redo the steps because they were an eye sore.
There was some damage to the house during the work (the large excavator hit our sunroom and gutters, resulting in dents - and we discovered later that a window no longer closed because of the misalignment it created). The owner was prompt at fixing the visible issues. We didn't realize the window was out of wack until weeks later. Our bad, for not making sure that small machinery would be used. The machinery used on the project was larger than life and the layout of the space must have made it difficult to control.
Bottom line: we wouldn't have our beautiful patio if not for DiGesu, because we could never have afforded the other contractors, and it was worth a few setbacks.

We decided to renovate our kitchen including a change in the layout. DiGesu guided us through the entire process of designing, building and choosing among different type of cabinet styles. He was detailed oriented and towards the end
he suggested to do a ?punch list? to ensure that every detail was taken care and that we were 100% satisfied with the job.
He is knowledgeable, patient and provided a service that was far superior to other building contractors.
He was always on time and would communicate on a daily basis via email/text and/or phone. I would
recommend him to anyone who is looking to improve their property.
