About us
What Is Landscape Lighting? Landscape lighting is the creation of a lighting effect, not the display of lighting fixtures. Lighting can have many purposes ranging from aesthetics to safety and security. The illumination of gardens, trees, shrubbery and ground cover extends the beauty of nature into the nighttime and enhances your environment and property. Entrances, pathways, buildings, patios, and recreational areas should be included in the landscape lighting scheme for safety, security and to allow the use of these spaces at night. When adding a pool in your home, you may want to consider other additions as well. Light Up The Night can help you light your pool and pool side, so you can enjoy the new investment without being aware of artificial lighting. "Good outdoor lighting is not supposed to be obvious or make a statement, but rather emit a subtly elegant and welcoming effect." says Mark Mosello, our lead designer. The best time to install outdoor lighting is now. Many techniques that Mr. Mosello's company uses are "uplighting" (lighting trees from the group up), or "downlighting" (filtering lights from the tops of trees to give a moonlit effect) are used to achieve the overall goal of creating a gentle harmony of night sky and lights. Mr. Mosello very rarely consider using low voltage lighting, due to its anemic effect it has outdoors. Also, our experience has proven that the fixtures, wiring techniques, and transformers do not have a history of longevity. Indoor Lighting When our team of experts work indoors to light up art work, dining rooms, and work spaces, the entire effect of the room will have a soft, welcoming, elegant feel. Our team of indoor experts use jewelers tools. This is done to prevent any damage during an installation, since the rooms have already been painted and decorated. Low Voltage fixtures, patching, and clean up are all part of our installation fees. Consultation fees out of our area start at $250.00 for indoor and outdoor lighting.
