"Firstly, we appreciate your comments about our quick response to your issue. It is important to our company that we respond to homeowners quickly when they are in an emergency situation, and have no water. We will not get into the logistics of the actual work that we felt needed to be done. However, we will comment on the reasons we chose not to provide any further quotations. It was our opinion that the entire water system was in poor condition, and should be replaced to avoid any mechanical failures in the future. Our business practice is not to use what we call the "band-aid approach". We do professional, and honest work. The quickest, or cheapest fix is not always the best in the long run. However, this is only our opinion. you are certainly entitled to your own. It is unfortunate that we were not able to meet your specific needs. We have been in business since 1952, and have been using the same business model through all of those years. "fix it right the first time" In response to the service call. We believe that that is a fair price in our service area. It is not just as simple as "pushing a little red button". We actually have to diagnose the problem with electrical meters; amp probes, voltage meters, and ohm meters to determine the actual problem. After our service call was completed we did restore water in your home. We responded to your call, diagnosed the problem, and temporarily solved the problem. It was not our intention to dissatisfy you with the quotes that followed for the repair work. The quotes that were provided was our recommendation to give you the best possible water system."
