I was moving and had Biggs close my pool. They not only provided the services but left me a bill should the next owner want to open again the summer. This way the new owner would know who to call and the price to expect.

Job is not done yet as the new filter has not arrived yet. I used Steve when I bought the house, he did a great job. I switched to a different pool company only because it was owned by a friend, that wasn't nearly as good. Then I used a third company that had a very low price to open the pool...complete and utter fail. I was embarrassed to call Steve since I had stopped using his company last year but I am glad I got over that. He came and quickly, efficiently, and professionally fixed the problems.

Biggs is pretty good. The owner is easily available over the phone to explain their services. The service quality is good and they do a complete job to get the pool in good shape. My main issue is simply the cost. They charge pretty dearly for opening and maintaining the pool. Quite frankly I have never shopped around so it is possible they are not more expensive than others. However putting a pump timer cost me $275 and a pool net cost me $45 so seems a little steep. They are punctual and do what is needed to get the job done so they are a good choice if you have a complex pool or need more assistance

I actually don't have the numbers right in front of me to verify that it was $1,000. But, after having used the same service people for a few years and not being happy with responsiveness, Biggs Pools was recommended to me. The owner came by to do the assessment and estimate for cost of maintaining pools. I found the prices competitive, the service men to be the same ones I see over and over (I like this) and responsive to my calls no matter when I place them.I would highly recommend them and think they are really terrific.

I got them through Angie's List, realized that my neighbor used them and I have had a great experience with them. I spend a couple of thousand dollars with them for the season; it starts in May and ends in approximately end of September and beginning of October. I think their price is very fair. I would be using them as a permanent pool service for my home. He replaced a number of pieces of equipment that were aged, just had reached a point of not being able to be used anymore. It was like pool filter and some other things. The price was fair, I had no issues and installation went well.
