The back up was due to a blockage that probably existed before we bought the house a year and a half ago. The two gentlemen Ted and Dominick came over immediately, and worked like demons in the heat snaking the pipes in my house every possible way, digging up part of the lawn, crawling into the crawlspace, and finally taking out a toilet and snaking a last time to solve the problem. Then they cleaned it all up! And the bill they gave me for 4.5 hours of two men working was extremely reasonable! I was really very surprised at how well everything went in a very difficult situation. I could not thank them enough!!!

Very well. They arrived on time and tackled the two issues; pumping the plastic tank and fitting new covers, and clearing the clog by snaking through the opening in the septic tank to avoid messing up the inside of the house. Dominick has many years of experience and it didn't take him long to figure out and solve the problem. Ted, the current owner is very pleasant and professional. When you had the problem that I did you need very prompt and professional service and that's exactly what I received.

they arrived at the prescribed time. they cleaned the tank where possible. they made good suggestions regarding taking care of the system. i asked them to put me on a two year schedule following my observing their work

We have used A1 Octeau to pump our septic tank for many years but recently had our first occasion to use them to clean out a blocked sewer line.
They came promptly and cleaned out the obstruction after checking water flow throughout the house.  Total time elapsed was less than an hour.  The drains operated properly.  The following day they came to service our septic system as they have done every couple of years for about 20 years.

A-1 Octeau's Pumping Service has been coming to our house twice a year for maintenance. He is excellent and creative with the problem solving. Very punctual and hardworking. Sometimes we have to replace the pump, so we order it and he installs it. He takes the existing pump apart and cleans it which prolongs the life of the pump.
