Yes, I recommend this pro

They quoted us a fair price and they delivered.
It was very important that they finished the project in 5 days, because we were moving in, and the floors needed to be DONE and DRY.
Well done. Thanks Baker.

Terrible Service.  In this case, I was looking for someone to sand, stain and urethane 2 apartments I own in Stafford.  At this point, they seemed punctual, and we moved forward with the proposal.  Rick Baker was supposed to complete the upstairs and then the downstairs apartment about a week later.  | |After they did the upstairs apartment, I noticed that there was some color differences.  I looked like stain was applied liberally in some areas and lightly in others.  this was not differences in the wood, as the shading was prominent across wood planks.  I brought this up to Rick, asking that he meet me to go over it so he could explain.  I called him the next day and he told me that earlier that day, he (without my permission), let himslef into the apartment with other friends of his, and told me I was F****ing crazy, that his friends told him it was great.  He then told me not to call him again, and hung up.  | |Upon closer inspection, I found 5 different large areas that had large build ups of urethane, like large runs.  Also, although I had cautioned his team several times when they were on the job, when they sanded, their sanding disks cut into the pex heating pipes in both bedrooms.  Both had to be replaced at my cost.  | |These guys are a nighmare!  I went with someone else downstairs, and the difference in night and day.  This guy is brash, and does not want to hear when there is a problem. When I first borought this up, I told him I was not lookingfor any type of money compensation, only that he would do better when he did the downstairs apartment.  | |In my opinion, this guy is a thug and I feel a person wold be smart to find someone else if given the chance.
