Aspelin Associates is a full service architectural design firm with years of experience in residential and commercial design, remodeling, rehabilitation and addition projects. We have completed hundreds of residential and commercial projects that have encompassed all styles of architecture. Our approach to design projects is to provide a personal, close working relationship that can include involvement right through the design and building process. Lasse Aspelin, principal of Aspelin Associates is a licensed Connecticut architect with more than 25 years of experience in Connecticut, California and Canada. He is a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. He was educated at California State Polytechnic University and took a fourth year honors program in Contemporary Danish/Scandinavian Architecture, Design and Lighting in Kopenhagen and Helsinki. Aspelin Associates' diversified experience provides the insight and creative capability to exceed your project expectations while meeting your budget goals. Lasse Aspelin has worked in San Francisco, Vancouver, B.C., Hartford, Farmington, Simsbury and Manchester, CT with many of the notable architecture/interior design firms. Among these firms are DuBose Associates, Jeter, Cook & Jepson, and Moser Pylon Nelson Architects. The office of Aspelin & Associates has been located in Stafford Springs Connecticut for the last fifteen years.

The project began on 10/14/23, and as of September 6, 2024, the working drawings were approximately 80% complete and all payments as contracted had been sent to the provider. The project has been placed on hold pending resolution of a payment dispute and mediation is requested.

Lasse is a superb architect and his ideas and design / redesign of our home will make our lives so much easier and better. He added so much value to our home with his creative and artistic plans. I asked this man to draw an addition with an in law appt for my daughter that was contained in the new addition What he drew was a whole house renovation ... I told him we weren't Interested in that before he did the work. Because of all the money that was already spent on updates throughout the house .... When I told him that he ignored our wants,his temper flared and he demanded more money to fix it... We are now in small claims to retrieve our money back By the way he is very expensive We got the job done correctly for half the price using someone else
