After one week delay because of "broken machine", the carpet was removed by Dan Newman, owner. He was unable to fix the floor underneath because it was too damaged. So a vinyl floor was installed by someone else that he recommended and that cost me double . Newman started working on the dining room and kitchen floors. After three days of what appears like sanding, he left stating that he was done sanding and staining and that he will be back to apply the finish. I checked the floors after he left and noticed that there were marks all over them that were not there before. The marks looked to be caused by the machine he used and they were everywhere. When he called me to come back to finish, I asked him not to return because it was obvious that he did not know what he was doing. I showed the floors to three other floor experts that confirmed to me that he did not sanded the floors, it look more like he buffed it with a machine that was not tuned causing the damage or he did not know how to used it. I hired someone else that did a perfect sanding job by removing all the damage that was done to the floors and who charged me less.
