Everything was as expected regarding materials and installation. Good quality and friendly workers. The amount of time to complete the work was more than expected even considering added items and changes. More frequent and proactive communications to the home owner is recommended. Regarding the end results, I would recommend this company to family and friends and would use them again in the future based on price and quality.

Looks beautiful. I had to call twice to get them to come back in the Spring to adjust the gate, but all works fine now.

I purchased northern white cedar from Southington Rustic fence to repair and rebuild my fence. I worked through Mike at Southington Rustic fence, and he was able to get me the materials I needed quickly and was very helpful in the process. A good local, family business in Southington to support. I would purchase materials through them again.

The guys did a wonderful job and were friendly and professional. We even had a difficult neighbor that they had to deal with and handled it wonderfully. They did the work in a timely manner and cleaned up afterwards. Highly recommend.

It was an absolute pleasure doing business with Southington Rustic Fence. They were extremely flexible in working around my schedule, and were creative in working through the specifications with me. When I was unable to meet with tem at the house, they walked the property with me on the phone and we were able to collaborate on an approach. They drew out maps and worked very effectively through email, exchanging pictures, etc. to insure I was getting the fence I wanted, installed the way I wanted. I had a very rocky terrain and some difficulties that they were able to expertly handle. My sales rep Michael was in touch with me throughout the entire process. We had some on the fly adjustments that we needed to make for various reasons and they were able to accommodate these changes with little notice. The fence was amazingly installed in two days and it looks absolutely fantastic. In my previous home, in a different area of Connecticut we had a fence put in by a different fence company that serviced that particular area. There is absolutely no comparison to the quality of job and customer service between that company and Southington Rustic Fence. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

We had an excellent experience overall.  We were initially unhappy with the gate to the left of the house but they promptly came out to the property and fixed the problem.  Michael Dominique and the staff are truly professional.

We had plenty of communication via phone and e-mail, as well as two in-person visits at our home and an in-person visit to their office. The quote was reasonable and comparable to other quotes we received. Mike was punctual and easy to talk to. The installer Steve and his assistant Jason were also very friendly and professional. The installation was smooth and painless. Thank you for our beautiful new fence as it has completely transformed our yard.

Working with Southington Rustic Fence was amazing. My neighbor and I had worked together to take trees down and have a somewhat matching privacy fence put up. He did a lot of pricing and came to me to say he was going with Lowes for a pine dog eared fence. I called Lowes and another fence company and Southington Rustic. Southington offered a price for a cedar dog eared fence that was comparable to Lowes. I ordered it late in the season and sure enough winter started. Long story short, I worked with Mike, Clarence and Barry all of whom were amazing and easy to talk to or ask questions. Fence has been installed, it is beautiful and much higher quality than my neighbors. My neighbor even told me he is jealous of the beauty of it. It's also sturdy and expect will last for a very long time.

We got 3 estimates for an 80 foot section of fence and chose Southington Rustic Fence because they were accommodating, professional and reasonably priced.  It took 7-8 weeks from the time we put down a 50% deposit to the time the workers arrived to install the fence.  The workers were very nice and knew their job well.  The fence looks great, the installation is solid and we are happy with the job.

I was very pleased with the fence as installed and also the service provided in carrying out the installation.  In particular, the 2-man crew that performed the installation admirably handled a situation with a neighbor who raised issues regarding the location of the fence. 
Once the installation was scheduled, it was carried out promptly and all materials were cleaned up once complete.  I did have some difficulty scheduling the installation, but this may in part have been due to the vagaries of the weather.

The installation went well and they did a great job. I am very happy with the work. It took a bit longer to get the project started than I would have liked. We did lose some momentum between the initial prompt estimate and the actual install. I think that I fell off of their radar for a few weeks and the install did not begin until 3 weeks after I wanted it completed. I take partial blame for this though, as my check in emails were like a week apart.

They did a great job. Their company is just top notch. I actually think that they are the best around. They have great customer service. They are very good at what they do. They are punctual and clean up after themselves. They talk to the customer. Fencing is an interesting thing because it goes with the contour of our land, so they ask us specifically about how we like it to look. So it was very good. I was very lucky actually. People will be very happy with them.

Installation began 2 week earlier than scheduled.  The men who worked on our project were clearly proud of their work.  Our was a challenging install since part of the fencing is on a pretty steep hill.  They had to hand did all the post holes the resulting product is beautiful.  Due to having to work around and include a shed and front hedges, the went above and beyond in securing the corners so our dog does not escape.  The work is just perfect.

Everything went very well from the initial contact, the estimate process, the signing of the contract, scheduling the work, doing all the work on schedule, and wrapping up the job. We could not have been happier with all the people involved fron Rustic Fence, the quality of the materials and the quality of their work. we highly recommend them.

They finished the job when they said they would and even painted a supporting  post for my gate, which was not included in the bid.

Our wooden split-rail fence was rotting out and one side had collapsed in the October snow storm last year. Southington Rustic fence installed the most beautiful, classy, durable and elegant black aluminum fence around our pool area. Mike Dominique came over to our home to do the estimate. He worked with us and gave us many suggestions to help stay within our budget. He was very knowledgeable about all kinds of fencing and was also extremely nice. He made us feel very at ease and comfortable with our decision.
I can't believe how fast they got the job done! They didn't cut any corners either. The 2 men that came to do the installation were both very experienced. They were so kind and accommodating, true professionals. They even took care to work around my special butterfly, rhododendron and rose bushes that I had pointed out to them before they began their work. 
The fence is completely up to pool code according to the CT laws and they knew exactly what those regulations were.
After they had delivered the materials, my fiancé and I were peaking at the fence panels and noticed half of the order wasn't right and was a different style fencing than we'd ordered. I notified SRF, who immediately corrected the order (the supply company had messed it up, not them). They worked with the half of the order that was correct. The new panels came the next day and they didn't skip a beat. There was no hold up.
They poured cement into the posts to ensure its stability and longevity. The gates are auto-close and key lock. They open and close with ease making our pool area more safe and secure. The fence also comes with a life-time warranty! (provided by the supplier).
I would absolutely hire Southington Rustic Fence again. We had an overall excellent experience.

This experience was terrific.  From the initial contact with Mike Dominique, the owner, who came out to measure the yard to the final panel being installed, Rustic Fence was what everyone wants in a commercial business they are hiring to do a job.  The quote arrived within two days; we even made some adjustrments on pricing, and the company took care of contacting the utility companies who came out to make sure the area was safe for digging.  As the homeowner, I didn't have to do a thing to prepare for the installation.  When the job was complete, Miuke called to make sure I was swatrisfied, and even more importantly, asked if my wife Barbara was satisfied.  (After all, since I am retired and she still works, Barbara is the primary breadwinner and the lady of the house who was looking forward to not only having a product that would be lovely, but cost effective.)
