Worst service Ever. Took advantage of elderly during blizzard. Performed services for three area residents that day...All different prices. The Owner walked onto property and demanded immediate payment for $200. The Owner and his crew buried the mail box entirely. When we confronted him over snow removal bills from much smaller storms thereafter the owner threatened us verbally and said you'll be sorry. He also destroyed part of our lawn.
I can not in good faith recommend any services by this contractor.
"PALS has over 35 customers in which we perform snow blowing services. Brian lives in a Community Retirement Home in which the homes are close together. As [member name removed] explains it was during a blizzard. When we charge $25 to do a driveway during a normal storm the price increases basically every foot. You cant expect us to snow blow and shovel a driveway with 36" of snow for $25. After we were done, he explained that the homes heating propane tank was about a 1/4 full and that the propane company would not deliver unless a path was done to the tank. We started from the road and proceeded to make a path with snow blower and shovel to propane tank about a 100 yds that took 2 hrs to complete. We charged $150 for this "Emergency Service". Yes the mailbox did get buried but so did everyone elses. We did say that we would stop back later that afternoon but the Mobile Home Facilities Crew had already begun freeing up the mailboxes. Also it was no rush because the Governor called for a state of emergency and stopped the delivery of mail that day. Also we don't demand money or get into arguments with customers, because we bill at the end of the month. I am sorry that [member name removed] feels this way but you have to realize that we have equipment expenses, fuel, and this is very hard labor. During that storm we worked 36 hours straight trying to clear driveways. I don't believe we were charging excessively because the other homeowners were very happy to see us."
He went above and beyond the contract, and even cleaned the neighbor's vinyl fencing that was dingy with mold and lines our property. Reason why? Our kids play in the backyard, and he didn't think it was safe for our kids to play by the fence with it in that poor of condition.
I can't recommend Kevin enough. For someone to care as much about their services as they do their customers, Kevin wins in the power washing category! Thank you, Kevin!
"The awning was not part of the job. We asked the owner to remove all contents at least 10' away from house and when we arrived this was not done. We did cover the deck but unfortunately some of the soap splattered on the deck but I took full responsibility and restained the deck free of charge. I don't believe the rating should be this low as we are a veteran owned business and strive for good reviews."
"Thank-you (removed member name) for the kind words. As a contractor who specializes in dryer vent cleaning it's also refreshing to have a customer who is just as nice."
