When I called I spoke directly with Jim McCabe, who gave me a very straightforward estimate to calculate the time and cost. The movers were courteous, punctual, careful and on top of things, even though I booked them during a busy period and relatively last minute. Everything made it through the move unscathed, including fragile boxes, breakable furniture, and a refrigerator. We had one minor issue that the company very quickly resolved. I would highly recommend them and will use them again in the future.

I was more than pleased with the service I received from McCabe Moving Co.  The movers arrived exactly when I was told they would; worked quickly and efficiently from the moment they got out of the truck; were extremely careful in handling my furniture; were polite and professional throughout the day; and completed the move (which was from Connecticut to Maine) in less time than the original estimate, which saved me over $300.00.   I highly recommend this company!

We were moving from one small office to another and were looking for a service that was not too expensive. I was happy to hear they charge by the hour. We scheduled the move for Wednesday. They showed up early, loaded the truck, drove to the new office, and unpacked. It went very quickly. I was very impressed with the company and the three guys that came were great! I would definitely recommend them!

They gave me a quote based on several questions they asked me.  When they got to our house they determined that another truck and more man power would be needed.  With in an hour or so there was another truck and two more men to help.  They were so accommodating, the house we were moving into was filthy and one of the men suggested unloading the garage and shed first so that we could clean the house before all of our things were brought in.  Even with the 2 extra men and extra truck the bill at the end was not too much different that the original quote.  They were excellent, they hustled the entire time and were very professional.

They held the furniture for several weeks before a load was to be shipped to DC. They called and gave me updates on their progress en route so that part was good.

I WOULD DEFINITELY HIRE THEM AGAIN IF I NEED THEM. I WAS VERY GLAD THAT NOTHING GOT BROKEN. THEY SEEMED TO HANDLE ALL OF MY BELONGINGS WITH CARE. THEY WERE VERY POLITE AND CONSIDERATE TOWARDS ME.
