Horrible. Contractor was prompt to give me an esimate and take my payment. We went to my bank together so he could cash my check so hes on camera at the bank for that day.. He put me on for the first week of September then stated he needed to finish his current job and wanted a week or few days off before starting mine. He then rescheduled me to Sept 8th, then wed sept10th then Monday sept 15th. He never followed through on any of the dates nor did he contact me I had to reach out to him. I was getting worried so I asked him to have materials delivered. He sent me a screen shot of the deiivery day and order, for Sept 20th. We waited all day from 6 am to 8 pm no delivery. I contacted Home Dept who told me no order was ever placed. The funds I gave him were from our monthly pension and social security checks not extra money we have. We are both on disability and have limited funds. He sat in our home, won my trust and made promises he did not follow through on. Our deck is not safe and cannot be walked on as this is a serious safety issue we need to have repaired.I have not contacted him since Sept 20 as I am too angry and dont want to make matters worse. I did already submit this to you but I wasnt able to attach documentation so Im resending with attachments.

The provider and I agreed that the work would commence on July 14, 2025. On July 14, he advised that the rains was supposed to fall and as such he would start on July 16. On July 16, he texted to advise that the materials for the fence were out of stock and that he would keep me posted. I expected for him to keep communicating with me. After many calls and texts he finally responded on July 21, 2025 to let me know his father-in-law was hospitalized. He apologized for his actions. Being patient I allowed the weekend to go by. We agreed that we would communicate at around 8am yesterday July 28. I called at 8:15 am with no response; texted no response. Today marks 15 days since we agreed that the project would start. I had plans for the summer and the backyard, that had to be cancelled because of his no-show.

Jose from J&J came to the house to learn what we needed. Then he sent me an estimate requiring a deposit of $350. I paid that and we scheduled a time for him to come. He cancelled three appointments with no notice. I ve written and called him several times asking for the deposit back but have not gotten a response of any kind.

He came and gave me an estimate and a starting date but had to cancel because he got covid19. we put it off until this year. He had excuses then now he will not return my calls. I ask to have my money returned if he was not going to do the job and no results. This started Sept. 9 until now.

He did a great job and cleaned my gutter

Jose completed the project in good time.
