CT Moving and Storage

Disappointing to see a company that takes advantage of a single female. Having my daughter make an apartment move without my help proved to be a very bad decision. This dishonest company showed up at 8:30am but sat in the parking lot until 9am (30 minutes billable but wasted). Then 3 hours to load a one bedroom apartment. 90 minutes to drive to new apartment (billed for 2 hours) and 2 hours to unload. Billed for 9 total hours (added an hour on each side for driving time). $1400 for a 1 bedroom apartment. When she tried to argue the rates they brought her to tears because she only had a $1k budget (as quoted). They told her they wouldn't unload the truck if she didn't pay in full regardless of whether she agreed with the charges. Plan to dispute the charges with the credit card company and contact the better business bureau. DISHONEST, DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I want to start off by saying that Julio and Jessica were extremely professional. The pricing, however, is not at all transparent. There is a minimum of 3 hours of booking time, with additional time being booked in 15 minute increments. What they are unclear about is that they treat 'work' and 'travel' time differently. So, while the entire job I booked was 3 hours and 15 minutes (7:30-10:45AM, based on actual text timestamps and Maquest), I was charged a full four hours. This was explained to me as: Work time (8-10AM) and travel time (1 hour 45 minutes). If they are going to round up, they should simply tell customers they will get charged a full hour for any portion of the hour used. They did not do that. While they reimbursed me for 15 minutes, it truly felt like a bait and switch. For this reason, I do not recommend them.

Awesome. They know what they are doing and they do it well. Everything that was not in boxes was wrapped by them. Furniture items were also 1st wrapped in a blanket (included in the cost). Zero damage. While they were packing and unpacking they did not stop. They must have talked themselves out on the 3 hour drive to Cape Cod. I would not hesitate recommending them to a friend.

Every thing was moved on time no damage.

CT Moving and Storage were great to work with. They arrived right on time, listened to what I needed, and obviously cared about doing a good job. I would definitely hire them again.

Michael and Chris showed up on time, very courteous, talked about what I needed done and then set about moving every thing as I had asked. One piece, an antique curved glass china cabinet, was moved very cautiously. Well done. cost was $125/hr with a min of 3 hours. very reasonable when compared with other companies.

We couldn't be happier with our experience. The movers showed up early, quickly picked up all our furniture and boxes and we’re on their way to our new home in under an hour. They were able to move our washer and dryer safely down our very narrow basement stairs without issue, and brought all our belongings made it into the house safely and for less than our initial estimate.

They were incredible. I have given their name out to all of my clients. They were extremely accommodating, very mindful of my belongings and extremely efficient and their price was reasonable.

I had no problem with them and they were very good. They were on time and professional.

Their service was great. I called them, he was very accommodating, they showed up, they packed my stuff and nothing was broke. They set up my furniture, I would definitely use them again in the future and recommend them to everyone and they were fantastic.

I'll give them 10 for being the best they were perfect and a very good people. They were nice, understanding and polite.
