The project was an overall success! I received Al's number from my neighbor and called him as I was at my wits end with this dining room project. He came over the next day, took measurements, and got the details of the project. Doing a faux finish using metallic paint was a first for him. I received a quote the next day over the phone and he gave me a start day. He researched this project with much detail and was very resourceful. He finished the trim and cleaned up the paint lines (my mess) and then painted the ceiling with a base coat. He came back the next day and did the faux finish. I called him that evening explaining I really liked the technique, but did not like the color. He said and quot;Not a problemand quot;. He came back the next day and started the project again. During this time, a different neighbor had hired him to paint in her home. He managed both projects and we are both very happy with the outcome. He is very reasonable, personal, professional, and I'm so happy I never have to look for another painter again. He also does a lot of handyman work. Please do not hesitate to call Al if you have a home improvement project or just need some extra help with home maintenance!
