1. - Ceramic tiles on kitchen floor appear uneven in height as some feel higher than others when walking on them. Also, the grouting was done very poorly, may have to re-grout the entire floor. When the job was done, we had to clean up a substantial mess left behind. 2. - They came in to remove old back splash and ended up damaging the wall, breaking a small plastic corner piece from the top of our relatively new LG frig and finally notifying us that he did not know how to remove the back splash (first time he has seen one like this - I had to explain to him how it should be done and he is supposed to be the professional). As for damaging the frig. I asked him not to move it, I would do it, but he was very rushed carelessly pulling on door and freezer draw handles (the worst of it was that there was not reason to move it, he was not going to do anything that day). Also, we had extreme difficulty in communicating with him he spoke some strange language unknown to me. We instructed Home Depot to cancel the job with Hales and stated that Hales will never set foot in our house again.
