"Hi [Member Name Removed]! Thanks for your feedback, as hearing a situation from a customer's perspective helps us improve our communication processes to properly set expectations and get on the same page regarding the nature of any issues that arise. Glasco is committed to standing behind our work 100%. If a customer is not happy with a service we perform, we will make it right. We have a team of many qualified technicians with technical expertise and we have a great relationship with our manufacturers to get backup when an issue is highly specific to particular unit. Our reputation in Connecticut with tens of thousands of builders and homeowners that we've developed over the past 28 years is exceptional. These customers know that Glasco never walks away from a job! According to our records, your 7 year old gas-fired hot water boiler did not have any ongoing repair needs for the first 5+ years after installation. We did replace a control board with a manufacturer's defect at no charge just days after the installation in 2015. We do not have a record that we heard from you again regarding this boiler until October of 2020, at which time the repair was not for any part of the boiler, but for a part of your zoning system, which we repaired. We also do not have any record of you completing the required maintenance for your system in those years. Our service department has been working with you to resolve your most recent issue, however it seems you were reluctant to move forward with the quoted repairs due to the cost of parts and labor. Your boiler has a manufacturer's warranty of 2 years on parts, which has long expired. We are glad to hear that you were less reticent about paying for service from another provider and were able to get your issue resolved. We wish you the best of luck going forward with your new company. We did receive a formal complaint via the Better Business Bureau, but we later received a follow-up notification that the complaint was dropped due to non-response from the complaintant."
"We spoke with [member name removed] today and explained to her that we installed a different make and model of the ductless air conditioning system for her friend than the make and model she requested be installed at her home. The model she wanted installed was more expensive. Furthermore, the rebate money is offered through the State and we provided the additional service of applying for the rebate on her behalf. We explained to her that her $1000 rebate check will be forthcoming and that she must allow 90 days per State guidelines."
Glasco has a separate company that removes the old oil tanks for them. These guys were rough with my house. Not only did they bang the heck out of my floor they also left a trail of oil from my basement all the way through the cellar door and down the driveway. Additionally, one of the workers thought it would be a good idea and lay some of the old oil covered parts in my lawn. I still have oil stains in the dead grass patches of my lawn. Finally, while they were removing something heavy, they cracked my slate stone in my backyard walkway. I called them and they agreed to replace the stone at some point this spring/summer.
With all that, I still think they do good work for a fair price. I would not want the same company to remove the oil tank. I would also want them to show more respect for their clients property because now I have to try to grow new grass, fix a slate stone and look at the oil streak in my driveway forever.
Replaced A/C unit with Lennox AC/Heat unit using existing ducts. Piped gas supply line from the gas main installed by the utility company. Piped intake/exhaust ducts to the outside using PVC.
