Dan's assessment of the job included many details that once he mentioned them to me, made absolute sense in order to do the best job, but were items that received no mention or consideration at all by the other roofers that I got estimates from.  (I have experience in building and roofing.)  The other contractors' work would have likely been adequate, but the job McClintock did was superior.  McClintock's price was considerably higher than the others but it was definitely worth it to me to have the job done right.  The full staging they erected is, to me, an indication of  wanting to do the best work under the best conditions and to provide the best protection for the house and grounds. 

Flawlessly. The process was clearly explained as were the options. There were zero surprises and the product and workmanship exceeded my expectations. Very well done. Highly recommended.

They did a wonderful a job. My roof has stopped leaking and it looks beautiful. They also did skylights as well.

When stripping the porch, realized re-sheathing was required, and very
quickly obtained the materials and completed the extra work. I have
engaged them before, and they are extremely professional, start and
complete the work as estimated. In this case they were also willing to work with a home owner
that needed to overlap his efforts with theirs. They may not be
the lowest cost, but you will always get the best work completed on time
and on budget.
When estimates are made, they were one of the few
that actually climbed up on the roof to examine the situation, determine
the options, and fully discuss the choices offered. I will gladly recommend
them to others, and will definitely use them again when the need arises.

It turned out very well and he did a good job. The price was fair. I have another job for him to do for which he has given me an estimate. There is a leak around my bedroom patio door and it needs to be fixed around the molding. I have asked him to come and take care of that. Some recent repairs were done outside the house and he has to come and re-paint that. The only quarrel I have is that he has not come out to finish the work, and part of it has to do with the rain. It has been several months and I am a little bit tired of waiting.

Excellent. Dan is one of the most professional contractors and workmen we've ever experienced. His quote was very detailed, he explained in detail some of the complications of our particular roof. He has his own shop where he custom makes the metal flashing. What he designed around our chimneys looks more like artwork. We had one small problem with a couple of shingles that developed 6 months after the job was completed. He came out the day after we called and re-did the entire row of shingles, and I should mention that this was at Christmas. He is outstanding and I would not consider anyone else but him if I ever needed roofing in the future.

It is obvious that they have a lot of experience in roofing because they did an excellent job on mine. The came quickly and got the job done . I like that they give a written contract and are very thorough.
