Outstanding! The 2 man crew were extremely neat, charged a reasonable rate, and did a flawless job. They used great care to protect my new cabinetry and appliances and you'd never know I once had 2 plate sized holes in the ceiling.

I was also very pleased with their promptness in returning calls and flexibility in scheduling.

Overall, A service. Quality, perhaps, might have been better if they used vibrating versus rotary sander for prep of surfaces; I'd rate quality as B+ -to- A- (not an option, above). Price was excellent. They arrived on time, worked steadily, and did better than I expected.
Prviously, they painted some interior painting with excellent results, price, etc.
We would use again. Recommended for others. Suggest getting estimates from 1 or 2 others. These gentlemen were cost much less; any differences in quality for other vendors might not have been worth higher costs.

Your search is over for a GOOD CEILING PAINTER!  These guys are punctual, crazy clean freaks, meticulous and hardworking ceiling painters.  THEY KNOW CEILINGS, unlike other painters I have had in the past who destroyed my ceilings.  I had water stains, stress cracks,  and peeled off texturized ceilings from a previous painter who did not know what he was doing. These guys blew in here and finished the job in TWO DAYS!  Everything was bagged in plastic--even wallpaper was saved without tearing!  My Master bedroom has a tray ceiling, and in one side a taped area had opened up--they even screwed together the sheetrock, retaped and sprayed to solve the problem. Cracks were taped and sprayed to match the rest of the ceiling--unlike painters in the past who simply "glued" them shut. I was totally impressed with their work, and would not hesitate to hire them again!

Wellis Painting LLC was very good. They showed up on time. They were neat and clean. They stayed to their estimate. They had a fair price for their services.

They finished the job when I needed it done.  I feel they rushed towards the end because storms impacted their start date.  I have had worse painters before.  They were okay - but some quality issues.

Contractor and workers arrived at times stated.  Small repairs were made to holes in walls.  Workers were very aware of leaving tarps around areas I needed to go and were very polite.  All work was completed within time frame but one closet not completed -- they just missed it!  They came back next day to complete.  ALSO -- they were very prompt in providing a certificate of insurance.

On short notice in the middle of a full interior housing repainting job, the decision was made to remove the existing popcorn ceilings and repair three areas of dropped ceiling. Wellis came in one day and gave an estimate the next day, despite it being the weekend. The bid was accepted and they started the job in two days. The crew that arrived sealed off the hallways in a "plastic bubble" to prevent dust. The ceiling required wetting and scraping, scaffolding, tall ladders and multiple workers. Everything was professionally done with as little intrusion on the house as possible. They did the whole job in four days.Despite being called in ASAP, the job was done beautifully and quickly. The final result is everything we wanted. We would definitely use Wellis Painting again and highly recommend them for any painting or ceiling job.

My bathroom wall suffered some significant damage after a pipe broke in the unit upstairs from me and leaked onto my bathroom ceiling and wall. I called Lou Welch of Wellis Painting, who returned my call immediately. He came out and gave me a free estimate. I wasn't able to be home at the time of the repair, but I left him the keys to my home and never had any worries about allowing him access. He finished the job in one day and left no mess whatsoever. It looks wonderful! I was disappointed in myself because I remembered after he left that there were some screw holes in the kitchen ceiling that I meant to ask him to fix for me. When I remembered that, I looked up and saw that he'd evidently seen the screw holes, because he fixed those as well, at no charge to me!
