I have worked with Mike Barry at High Street Designs on two projects. The first was a smaller, one room renovation, and the second was a larger renovation involving a kitchen, dining room, and bathroom. For both projects, I couldn’t be happier with the results and working with Mike. From the initial estimate and until the final walkthrough, Mike is on-time, transparent, communicative, and consultative. His entire team are professionals, which makes the process less stressful. If surprises come up during the renovation, Mike clearly outlines the options and pros/cons of each. This made me feel very much in control of the project. A few weeks after the completion of the second renovation, we had a minor issue that needed to be fixed. Mike’s subcontractor came out the very next day to fix it. This is a testament to the quality of Mike and his team on ensuring the job is complete. I would highly recommend Mike and High Street Designs for any renovation that you are looking to do.

From the initial contact to work completion, Mike and I talked regularly.  He always followed through on everything he said.  Mike was professional,  organized,  knowledgeable,  and even helped participate in selecting some needed materials.  It is rare to find someone so reliable, trustworthy, and thorough in his job. Ray, who did almost all of the work, was exactly the same.  They both had a key to the house when an unexpected accident kept me away for 2 weeks.  Work proceeded  as planned, they kept me informed, and Ray even took care of my cat!  I  couldn't do that with just anyone.  Workmanship was excellent and painting was superb!  I would most definitely use  them again.  I couldn't be happier...

Mike Barry and his team did a fantastic job on our home improvement project.  Mike is exceptionally professional, efficient and exacting and his work is very reasonably priced.  We would absolutely call on him and his team again the next time that we have a home improvement project and would highly recommend him to any of our friends.

I had used High Street for a various "handyman" projects over the years and always was very impressed with Mike and the quality of his work.  When we decided to renovate one of our bathrooms down to the studs, he was our first choice.  The whole process went very smoothly.  We were given a realistic estimate of the length of time (3 weeks) and it was finished on time.  When some of the materials from the suppliers we had ordered from arrived broken, he stepped in and made sure the company replaced them quickly.  Any time there was something that was not planned for in the initial estimate, Mike would call and discuss options and make reccomendations on how best to proceed.  He offered valuable insight based on his experience renovating bathrooms, so we felt much more at ease since we had not hired a designer.  Hi entire crew was polite, professional, and cleaned up at the end of each day.  I look forward to using him again on other projects we will have in the future.

Replaced damaged part with pressure treated wood member and secured the new member.  The work was done very professionally.  High Street Designs quoted and charged a most reasonable price,  It was a pleasure to deal with High Street Designs and I recommend them highly.

They are very good! We have had them a couple of times and they are still doing some more work with them. Previously they had painted many rooms in our home and that is why we called them again. They are organized, responsible, prompt, neat and clean and they always notify you if they will be late. The pricing is in line, if not better, than others in the area for the quality of work. We have been very pleased with them!
